Sky Sports to launch golf magazine show

Sky Sports
Sky Sports is to launch a new weekly magazine show called Golf Juice.

Golf Juice will be recorded in front of a live audience and will feature all the latest news and views from the world of golf, alongside guests from sport, music and entertainment.  The show is one of the ways Sky Sports is working to engage and excite new and existing golf fans. In October, The British Masters supported by Sky Sports will return to the European Tour for the first time in seven years. Additionally the ‘Sky Sports Thursday’ initiative meant more than 15,000 tickets were available for free for the opening round at Woburn Golf Club.

“Golf Juice is a going to be a vibrant, entertaining and energetic golf show that’s a little bit different. It will appeal to all ages and there will be plenty for new and regular golfers every week. We’re delighted it will be on Sky Sports in a regular slot on Wednesday nights and it will complement our unrivalled schedule of live golf.” – Jason Wessely, Sky Sports executive producer for golf

The quartet of Jimmy Bullard, Zoe Hardman, DJ Spoony and YouTube sensation Mark Crossfield will host the series in front of a live audience at TopGolf in Watford.  The presenters and the guests will take a look at the biggest stories in the golfing world as well as testing out the latest equipment. Trick shot artist Geoff Swain will be showing off his skills each week and roving reporter Cara Robinson will keep viewers updated on golfing news from around the globe.

Sky Sports shows golf every week of the year with 100 tournaments live, including three of the four Majors, the Ryder Cup, European Tour, PGA Tour and The Open from 2017. The golf analysis team features some of the sport’s biggest names including Jack Nicklaus, Colin Montgomerie, Butch Harmon and Paul McGinley.

The British Masters supported by Sky Sports will return to The European Tour for the first time in seven years in October. As a presenting sponsor, Sky Sports will work with The European Tour and its leading players to engage and excite new and existing golf fans through its on-air coverage, promotion and staging of the event.
