Sean presents Liz with a lucky charm to take with her to her new job. Liz is saddened but touched. Peter, Toyah and Steve watch as Liz finally signs over her half of the pub. Sean puts a comforting arm round her, knowing how much she’s hurting. Later, Liz starts work at the medical centre and soon finds herself clashing with her new boss, Moira.
Craig confronts Neil wanting to know why there’s no record of his home visits to Bethany. Neil angrily orders him to mind his own business. Craig probes Bethany instead and gets her to open up, but Bethany begs him to keep what she’s said to himself.
Elsewhere, Kevin apologises to Erica for letting her down explaining he loves Anna; David struggles with the impending anniversary of Kylie’s death; Mary is surprised.

When Harriet and Cain are almost caught together by the Bishop, Cain realises he has no escape route so pulls off a disguise. Will the bishop believe Cain’s lies or will they be caught red-handed? Debbie insists Harriet is going to be trouble for Cain and the pair bicker. Can they be friends or do Debbie’s loyalties lie with Moira?
Elsewhere, Robert learns Aaron’s cutting himself; Finn asks Chrissie for a job.

Tom and Alfie discover Darren’s weed stash but when Nancy talks about going up to the loft, they get rid of it.
Adam, Jesse and Maxine are in utter shock when Marcus introduces himself as Toby’s dad. Adam decides to take a paternity test but Marcus is planning to take Toby with him if he doesn’t get his money today. Adam agrees to pay him off for Darcy to keep Toby.
Elsewhere, Armstrong makes himself indispensable at the Cunningham’s; Holly gets a shock when she receives a letter from Jude inviting her and Nick to Ibiza. Holly asks Ellie to take Nick’s place.
