Pick of the Plots: Wednesday November 7th
The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Paula visits Sally in prison, revealing that she has a plan to secure her release. Paula then meets up with Julian, a fellow lawyer who has useful evidence to help with Sally’s case at Speed Daal. Sophie is put out when Paula is cool towards her, and continues to feel sidelined when circuit judge Leonard arrives. When Sophie loses her rag, Paula hits back that she’s just insulted the Judge who could preside over Sally’s trial.
Meanwhile, Sally is enthused about her release and starts making plans, including turning Gina’s room into a yoga room. This gets back to Gina who’s hurt but Tim offers her reassurance. Later, Fiz is suspicious of Gina’s feelings for Tim, but Gina assures her they are just friends. Fiz discusses this with Geoff who, after observing Gina’s flirting, takes Tim to one side and warns him.
Elsewhere, Evelyn shows off her ‘new’ earrings and Fiz shares her suspicions with Tyrone, showing him Vera’s jewellery box under Evelyn’s bed. Tyrone confronts Evelyn and states that the current living arrangements are untenable, but when Evelyn concedes she has outstayed her welcome, Ty feels a pang of conscience, will he relent?
Also, Johnny and Jenny throw an engagement do for Kate and Rana, but Imran notices they are not on the same page when Kate says that Rana will make a terrific mum; Nick panics when Carla says she’s off to Nottingham to check out his restaurant and offers an explanation – he agreed to being a joint partner with his mate’s wife, Elsa, for tax reasons.

Robert is stunned when Aaron broaches the subject of them having their own child.
Chas is aware of a growing distance between her and Paddy, who is still struggling at work. Will Paddy open up?
Elsewhere, Bob is sent into a panic when the strippers cancel on him.

Liam brings Iona to Courtney, and blackmails her, either she tells him who killed Glenn or he will take Iona away. Later, Simone is hosting a press conference to smooth over her public image when Liam gets her alone – he knows she murdered his dad. Liam further interrupts Simone’s A&A to note that the man who leaked her sex tape is conveniently dead…
After the conference, he throws Simone into his car, and it’s revealed Courtney gave him her name. However, things take a turn when DS Roxy arrives and “finds” empty vials of poison in Liam’s car, and arrests him for killing his dad.
Meanwhile, Leela regards the flowers sent by Martine as condolence for Tegan, and Louis manages to rip up the card before it is seen. However, Leela finds out about the existence of the card from Yazz and confronts Louis.
Elsewhere, Charlie is furious with Darren for abandoning his family; Darren tells Nancy he’s filing for full custody; and Dee Dee is welcomed home.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Izzie can’t start school until tomorrow, so Daniel has to take her to The Mill for the day. Zara is concerned by the amount of time that Izzie spends on her phone. As she and Emma look at places for Emma to stay in Australia over Christmas, Zara notes that Izzie is too easily distracted. When a bored Izzie interrupts them, Emma sends her in Valerie’s direction.
Zara thinks bringing Izzie into work was a bad idea, and this feeling is only enhanced when she and Emma find Valerie and Izzie doing ballet on the back patio.
Elsewhere, reformed smoker Al is in a foul mood.
