Pick of the Plots: Friday February 15th

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Abi arrives back from a night out and angrily denies being the boat arsonist but a disbelieving Peter asks Carla to check the CCTV from the factory to see if it throws up any clues. Later, when the police arrive to check the CCTV footage themselves, Sarah is surprised to see the past few days worth has been deleted. Is Carla hiding something? Later, Peter hears from Sally that the CCTV footage has been deleted and then Cathy confirms that she saw Abi across town at the time the fire began – Carla has some explaining to do.

Meanwhile, Tracy quizzes Amy about her 12 week scan but Amy lies, making out she’s heard nothing from the hospital. Despite her morning sickness, Amy sets off to school. Having searched Amy’s room, Tracy finds a letter from the hospital and realises Amy’s been lying to them. Steve and Tracy show Amy the letter and offer her their support but they’re interrupted by the arrival of Vicky. Amy is horrified when Vicky says Tyler is sorry for the way he behaved and wants to be part of the baby’s life. Later, Steve and Tracy take Amy for dinner at the Bistro and are disgusted to find Tyler working there.

Elsewhere, Brian and Roy set about searching local records for info on the ring inscription; Chesney and Gemma get saucy in the kebab shop; and Tyrone is horrified to realise it’s Mary’s writing on the valentines card.

Coronation Street, Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

As Sonia prepares to take Dr Legg home, she’s left touched when he shows her a treasured possession – a medallion given to him by his father. Back on the Square Dot is in full preparation mode and as Dr Legg arrives, everyone realises just how frail he is.

Bex is upset knowing Dr Legg could die at any moment and she opens up to Sonia, who offers her support. Meanwhile, Dot has a touching gift for Doctor Legg. Doctor Legg shares some poignant memories with Dot before he passes away.

Elsewhere, Tiffany is worried about Evie and the mounting pressure of bringing in money.

EastEnders, Friday at 8pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Nicola takes drastic action to resolve things for her family.

Meanwhile, Jessie lays down the law after yesterday’s events.

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Liam surprises Mercedes with a diamond necklace and confesses his love for her, but she turns him down. Inspired by his mum’s faith, Liam goes to Joel for help, wanting to find strength in god. Joel is convinced he can turn him into a good man by supporting him. However, Liam is plotting to get Mercedes back at any cost…

Meanwhile, Sinead goes into jealousy overdrive and tries to get into Laurie’s emails at school.She’s discovered hiding by Sienna and Laurie, with Laurie threatening to file for divorce if she doesn’t curb her jealousy. However, Laurie later makes a move on Sienna who is left shocked by his actions.

Elsewhere, Liberty turns up at the Maalik’s, telling Sami that he’s a hit in Japan and could be owed royalties. When he doesn’t want to know, she decides to do something about it herself and gets him an agent, however Sami snaps at her.

Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Daniel and Zara tidy up after the night before and decide to tell Joe today, it’s not fair to let him think that they are still together. At a Nature Centre, Joe gets very excited, and Daniel and Zara start to feel normal, however the reality of their situation isn’t far from their minds. While Joe eats ice-cream, they tell him that Mummy and Daddy won’t be living together any more. They find breaking the news painful, but Joe takes it in his stride.

Meanwhile, Al awkwardly leaves a message for Catrin who enjoys his nervousness. They decide to meet up again but Jimmi spots that Al is tense about the situation.
