Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 13th August

The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

Callum leaves work unannounced to attend Chris’s memorial. However, the service proves to be too much for him and he leaves before it is over. Back home, Whitney demands to know what is going on, and Callum tells her that his friend died to allay her concerns that he is having an affair. Struggling to hold it together, Callum heads back to the memorial.

Meanwhile, Habiba questions Iqra about her partner, before confiding in Honey that she didn’t know what was going on in her sister’s life. Later, Habiba rescues Iqra from a scolding from their grandparents about her secret relationship. After a heart-to-heart with her sister, Habiba thanks Honey for her help.

Elsewhere, Kathy gives Ian a stern reality check about Bobby. Sonia is alarmed to discover Bex is looking at other options for university. Robbie searches for a new flat mate.

EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Ellis is shocked when a potential client is someone from his past. Later at April’s birthday party, Ellis tries to tell Jessie about it, but they are interrupted by a car horn outside. Jessie reveals to Marlon the mysterious man is Ellis’s dad Al, but why has he turned up and will anyone be pleased to see him?

Meanwhile, Debbie is leaving for Scotland and starts saying her goodbyes. Can Charity bring herself to say goodbye?

Elsewhere, Doug conceals his secret from Brenda. Sam and Lydia are shocked by Samson’s angry reaction to Lydia’s past. Laurel is uneasy about lying to Nicola.

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

A policeman turns up at Jonny and Ste’s house, demanding to know where they were last night during Sami’s attack. Ste confronts Stuart about the attack, but Stuart puts the blame on Ste, telling him that he was the one who made the order for action. Sinead confronts Ste, but he responds coldly.

Meanwhile, Misbah is concerned about Sinead and Hannah and tells Sami that he must break up with her. Sinead is heartbroken when Sami calls it off. However, Misbah has second thoughts after speaking to Imran.

Later, Jonny and Stuart set Ste up on another date with Jed. Whilst on the date, Jed tells Ste how evil Jonny and Stuart’s organization really is. They were both groomed because they were vulnerable. Jed tells him that he has been gathering evidence. He wants Ste to meet him tomorrow so they can hand it to the police.

Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
