Pick of the Plots: Thursday 15th August

The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

It’s the day of Bex’s A-Level results but as Sonia anxiously waits to hear, Bex ponders what she really wants. 

Meanwhile, Mick is still experiencing a tight sensation in his chest which isn’t helped by Stuart showing up at the Vic. In the cellar, Stuart pleads with Mick for them to put the past behind them but leaves when he doesn’t appear to be getting anywhere. Moments later, Mick collapses.  

Elsewhere, Kathy is worried to hear Bobby failed to turn up to dinner with Ian whilst Bobby wakes up at the restaurant after spending the night there. Later, Bobby questions Max about his feelings for Lucy.

Also, Honey has an unsettling conversation with Iqra and later tells Adam they are going away together without the kids. Iqra decides to move in with Robbie to escape her grandparents probing into her private life. Daniel continues to get on Jean’s nerves at the hospital.

EastEnders, Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Zak and Faith discuss what happened between them in the Woolpack cellar. The pair hide when Bear enters, aware of how bad it might look if they’re found together. Suddenly Faith and the fuse box get soaked by beer when a hose is forced off a barrel plunging the pub into darkness. All eyes are on a guilty Bear.

Drenched, Faith and Zak tumble out of the cellar, leaving Bear suspicious. Bear’s mortified when Faith reveals how he’s illiterate in order to protect her own secret of kissing Zak.

Elsewhere, Cain is left surprised by Matty’s aggression during an argument; Nate confronts Amy and Kerry.

Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm and 8pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Sinead doesn’t want to stop Ste seeing Hannah anymore but she notices his knuckles are bleeding. Sinead is determined to find out what they’re all up to and breaks into Jonny and Ste’s house with Yazz’s help. They find a USB stick containing a floor plan of a community centre of which Sinead quickly takes a picture.

Sinead and Yazz manage to get out as the lads return home, but Stuart hears something and looks at the CCTV Sinead and Yazz were blissfully unaware of. Later, Sinead and the Maaliks go to police with the picture but the police can’t use it as evidence due to how it was obtained. And soon it’s revealed that the group filmed Ste beating up Jed, for insurance. 

Elsewhere, Mercedes covers when Nana confronts her about what she heard last night but she is later overheard on the phone to Liam by Breda. 

Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
