The first is now live for fans of the blue heeler puppy and his friends…
BBC Studios has this week launched a brand-new Bluey digital series called Bluey Dancealongs, featuring Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer, Dianne Buswell.
“How cool that I got to go to Bluey’s World in Australia to dance in Bluey’s house with some incredibly talented kids dancing to some of Bluey’s favourite tunes. I love the message that Bluey sends out, to not just kids but grownups too. I can’t wait to see everybody trying the dance moves at home and joining in the party” — Dianne Buswell
Filmed at Bluey’s World in Brisbane, the digital-exclusive series will see episodes added weekly at the Official Bluey YouTube, Bluey.tv and Bluey social channels.
Dancealongs see Australian professional dancer Dianne Buswell – who won Strictly for the first time in 2024 alongside comedian Chris McCausland and recently received the Memorable Moment Award at this year’s BAFTA TV Awards – step into Bluey’s World, to choreograph and star in a series of five dance videos.
Each video features a beloved Bluey song and take place in a different location within Bluey’s World, inviting fans into the immersive For Real Life experience. The first episode, now live is ‘Bluey Theme Tune (Dance Remix)’.
The next edition lands on the 22nd May and is called ‘Burger Dog’. Episode three, live from the 29th of May, is ‘A Message from the Fairies’ while ‘Lollipop Yum Yum Yum’ can be seen from June 5th. The final edition is added on 12th June, ‘Muffin Drive’.
Dianne will be joined by young fans of the show, creating joyful, energetic routines to inspire and engage everyone. See much-loved Bluey songs turned into easy-to-follow choreographed dance routines for Bluey fans to recreate at home.
