BBC One soap EastEnders was the most watched programme of Tuesday with over 9 million viewers. The episode was seen by 9.3 million viewers with a further 830,000 viewers watching the episode via the 10pm repeat on BBC Three giving a combined audience for the episode of just over 10 million viewers. Following the soap at 8pm was Holby City in an episode which retold the events of last week’s instalment but from a different point-of-view. The episode was seen by 5.7 million viewers and following the medical drama at 9pm was Famous Rich and Jobless on BBC One which had 4 million viewers.
The third instalment of Lambing Live with Kate Humble on BBC Two had 2.5 million viewers while a repeat of Law and Order UK on ITV1 had just 2.3 million viewers for the broadcaster narrowly behind CSI on Five which had 2.4 million viewers. The latest episode of Shameless on Channel Four had 2.3 million viewers at 10pm. Other soap ratings for the day and Emmerdale had 7 million while BBC One’s daytime soap Doctors had 1.7 million at 1.45pm. Hollyoaks on Channel Four had 1.3 million for the broadcaster at 6.30pm.
