ITVFans of the axed ITV cop-drama The Bill have launched a campaign to try and save it after yesterday’s announcement by the broadcaster that the drama would end in the Autumn after 27 years on-air. The campaign has been launched on Facebook and so far has nearly two thousand members and over the coming days this number is likely to grow. The fans are hoping that if ITV don’t change their minds on saving The Bill that another broadcaster – such as Five or the BBC – will pick up the drama instead.
