Martin calls Kat and explains that Tommy’s is upset about the court case with Scarlett. Kat realises she needs to be honest.  Kat tells Tommy that Alfie isn’t his real dad, his Uncle Michael is – making Tommy and Scarlett siblings. Although shocked, this only makes Tommy more determined that they need to look after Scarlett.

Later, Kat arrives to the courthouse and informs the social worker that she wants to become Scarlett’s carer, it’s for the best that Scarlett never sees her real Mum again.

Meanwhile, Jean is back from Sean’s and quickly realises that Ruby hasn’t told Martin the truth as promised. Ruby tries her best to distract her husband but can’t stop Martin heading over to speak with Jean. Jean doesn’t tell Martin the truth, because she has other things on her mind – a garage full of weed that hasn’t died.

Elsewhere, Zack agrees to take Albie to an appointment as a favour to Sharon. Gray is tight on cash and uses a burner phone to send a message –  Shirley sees a text from Tina who wants money.

EastEnders, BBC One, 8.05pm

Kelly takes the witness box and tells the court how Corey attacked Seb and kicked him repeatedly despite her begging him to stop. Sabeen suggests she attacked Seb in order to impress Corey. Laura takes the stand, claiming Kelly is a model daughter and would never have hurt Seb.

The trial coming to an end, Imran and Sabeen deliver their closing speeches. Despairing, Abi yells at the jury not to believe Corey.

Meanwhile, Eileen reads the eulogy she’s written for Patsy. George feels terrible and reveals the awful truth, that the ashes are actually Phelan’s. Floored, Eileen hurries out, ordering Todd to stay out of her sight.  Apologising profusely, George asks Eileen how she’d like him to dispose of the ashes. Later, George confirms he’s done as she asked. Eileen forgives him, when George suggests they give their relationship another go will she be tempted?

Elsewhere, Steve is unimpressed when he and Emma find Curtis drunk in the Rovers. Chesney doesn’t want Hope any where near Joseph. Fiz thinks Tyrone should go on the trip to Romania but he’s torn.

Coronation Street, ITV, 7.30pm and 8.30pm

Russ reveals that the reason he’s on the run is because he shot a cop during the armed robbery of a jewellery store. Wendy realises her ex is much more dangerous than she had ever imagined.

Meanwhile, Liam confronts Leyla, suspecting that something might be wrong. She eventually confirms that she’s had a miscarriage. Can Liam put his grief to one side and be there for his wife when she really needs him?

Elsewhere, Charles tells Andrea that he loves her.

Also, April suspects that she knows her bully. Cathy looks increasingly worried by this.

Emmerdale, ITV, 7pm

The Maaliks plan a family dinner as a softer approach to getting Misbah to tell the truth. Later, Misbah is sued for gross misconduct as a work investigation begins, and Toby accidentally gets Cleo in more trouble when he inadvertently shows Peri a picture which could be used against her, but will Peri report it?

A downbeat Misbah confides in Shaq about feeling as though her life is out of control, and he gives her the boost she needs to confront Ali.

Meanwhile, Verity wants to put a regretful night behind her and move forward with Sami, even suggesting that they move out of the Maaliks’. However, a shock confession from Theresa leads to a confrontation before dinner.

Elsewhere, an argument between Juliet and Peri makes them wonder whether they’re two worlds apart. Grace receives some tough love from Scott.

Also today, there’s some tough love from Scott as he finds Grace feeling sorry for herself. He convinces her that the best thing to do is to find a roommate and she settles on a man called Nate.

Hollyoaks, Channel 4, 6.30pm

In shock Rob needs to know if Aaron is dead. He isn’t. Harriet takes charge and calls an ambulance.

When an inspector arrives, Harriet claims that Aaron tripped down the stairs during a chase. Forensics and Inspector Zoya Okoro arrive and Harriet’s passes Rob looking a bit green around the gills off as him having food poisoning.

Later, Jimmi is concerned about Rob. He notices his injured hand, but Rob insists he is fine.

Elsewhere, Emma nips out of the surgery to buy something second-hand. What could possibly go wrong?
