Pick of the Plots: Tuesday March 13th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in River City, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: River City

Lenny gets closer to finding the driver who ran over Madonna, Scarlett gets used to her new reality, while Angus gets his love life back on track.

River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

The Taylors are tense following Mitch’s visit and Keanu insists that Karen avoids making contact with him. Karen’s resolve weakens when Mitch turns on the charm at the launderette but her family make it clear he isn’t welcome when she brings him back to the flat for dinner. However when everyone is asleep, Karen sneaks Mitch back in.

Meanwhile, Ian blags himself a drink with Mel on the pretence of updating her with local business contacts but is taken back when Jack joins them. Ian does his best to prove to Mel that he is a new man but is left embarrassed when he gets into an argument with Masood. Despite this, Ian suggests to Mel that they should give things another go leaving her stunned.

Elsewhere, Patrick is stunned when he wins a large sum of money.

EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Liv puts the ketamine Gabby stole from Vanessa in Lisa’s pint by mistake. The girls are soon puzzled as to why Daz – their intended target – is fine. It soon becomes clear why when Lisa slumps over a table and has to be taken to hospital. The Dingle’s watch on in horror as Lisa goes into cardiac arrest… Will the girls confess?

Meanwhile, Simon admits to Joe that he threw the acid on Ross but Joe’s shocked to discover Debbie had paid Simon to get revenge on Joe, not Ross. Joe offers him £100,000 to keep quiet about Debbie before he’s arrested.

Elsewhere, Pete tries to persuade Ross to have the skin graft; Paddy’s worried about the missing ketamine.

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Joel is sceptical of Sienna’s claims that there was an intruder in the flat. Meanwhile, Sienna receives a text from someone asking to meet. Cleo and Joel try to stop Sienna but end up spooking the mystery driver, who hits Sienna on his escape. At the hospital, Sienna is worried when she is told she needs a biopsy, thinking it may mean her cancer is back.

Meanwhile, James informs Sami that he has his job back and that he is going to visit Harry in prison. Sami tells Kyle to sort it. Kyle persuades James to go for cocktails instead but when Kyle admits to falling for James, James throws him out.

Elsewhere, Marnie tells Buster about pushing Mac out of the window, neglecting to mention that it was Ellie; and Ella feels left out.

Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Jimmi’s technological intervention has yielded results but there are still one or two issues that they need to sort out before the inspection. Jimmi suggests making a disclosure of lost data to the patients but Daniel and Zara point out that they can’t be sure there has even been any. However, Jimmi is still adamant it’s the best course of action.

Later, Jimmi has a very productive meeting with Ashley about their difficulties. Ashley makes some suggestions about how to make their data more secure going forward. The pair word a joint statement from the partners.

Elsewhere, Ashley professes his love for Valerie and proposes to her.
