Pick of the Plots: Wednesday August 30th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Wednesday.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Jenny and her bridesmaids meet with the dressmaker. However, the outing doesn’t go well when there’s some mishaps sparked by Rita. Having returned home, Rita busies herself setting the table but when she sets an extra place for Len, Gemma’s quietly concerned. Gemma confides in Rosie and wonders if Rita’s got dementia.  

Nicola tells Yasmeen about her plans to build a youth centre with Phelan’s help. Yasmeen warns her that she’s dealing with a rogue. Nicola confronts Phelan about the Calcutta Street flats project.  

Elsewhere, Gary assures Izzy and Anna that his job isn’t dangerous; Sally vows to run for Mayor.

Coronation Street, Wednesday at 7.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Has Aaron turned a corner?

Rebecca is overwhelmed with the business and confides in Robert that someone else might need to take control of things. When Lawrence falls asleep at the cafe, Emma advises Rebecca to get him seen by a doctor.

Bob asks Emma to help out at the cafe, she’s chuffed but Laurel advises Bob to exercise caution.

Emmerdale, Wednesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Neeta steals money from The Dog to pay for Hunter’s ticket to Edinburgh but Mac thinks Prince is the thief. Prince sets out to get revenge with a can of spray paint but soon forms another plan when he overhears Neeta on the phone to her mystery man.

Mandy is heartbroken when Ella is moved to a new foster home. Mandy tricks Milo into finding out the address of Ella’s new foster home.

Elsewhere, Myra finally gives Joel and Cleo her blessing; Damon offers to teach Ellie and Holly self-defence but Holly freaks out and hits him in the face.

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
