At the hospital Johnny and Roy bond over their love of Carla as they await news of the operation. As first Aidan and then Carla are brought back from the theatre Carla has an announcement to make.
Meanwhile, Eileen and Summer are worried to find Billy has disappeared, meanwhile a jittery and sweating Billy has met up with his brother Lee in the cemetery. Billy begs Lee for help. Later, Eileen is surprised to note an upturn in Billy’s mood.
Elsewhere, Michelle has a go at Liz for not telling her about Ali being back; Liz asks Ali to cut Michelle some slack; Shona’s attempts to match make Josh and Maria fail; and Bethany agrees to give her apprenticeship at the salon another go.

Tracy is horrified when Phil reveals he knows about her sordid past as a prostitute. She remembers him as a former client and is further shocked when he demands a grand to keep a video of them to himself. Tracy steals money from Frank but can’t bring herself to hand it over.
Meanwhile, Laurel arranges a video call to the Woolpack and Sandy makes a final toast as he says his goodbyes.

Jesse is alarmed when Grace tells him what Courtney and Granny are up to and he finds evidence to prove that Granny is setting Courtney up. However, he’s too late to stop Courtney signing over legal guardianship and Granny leaves for Scotland with Iona.
Meanwhile, Glenn sets Esther up to ruin a romantic surprise proposal he has planned for Grace. Later, Grace encourages Glenn to propose again but Glenn makes her choose between him and Esther.
Elsewhere, Darcy comes to Jack’s aid when he collapses with chest pains;’ Marnie helps Sally and Myra fix their crumbling relationship.
Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Valerie probes into Ben’s downcast mood. Ben manages to brush her off – although not before accidentally agreeing to a lunch time chat. Instead Ben seeks out Jimmi, who at first is a bit awkward about talking with him, but Jimmi helps Ben realise that Will, although not right for him, was a good springboard for a new chapter in his life. Valerie is despondent when Ben doesn’t get back to her but starts to wonder if Jimmi could help her too.
Meanwhile, Ruhma’s meeting with a wedding photographer doesn’t go to plan; and Daniel gets caught up in a troubled marriage.
