Pick of the Plots: Tuesday March 6th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in River City, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: River City

Dougie battles with his guilt, while Stevie makes his final play. Meanwhile, the Murdochs are at each other’s throats, and a misunderstanding between Ellie and AJ threatens to ruin their friendship and more.

River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Mick is at breaking point following the discovery of Petrol at the Vic, however Linda deters him from getting in touch with Mel’s dodgy contact. When Phil refuses to help, Mick asks Vincent if he wants to join forces to get rid of Aidan. When Mick leaves, Aidan questions what they were discussing – will Vincent tell Aidan the truth?

Meanwhile, Linda finds the missing phone number leaving and decides Aidan needs to go. Mick anxiously waits for the hitman to arrive. With Linda secretly listening in, the hitman has a friendly chat with Mick and asks him if this is what he really wants – what will Mick decide?

Elsewhere, Phil tries to reason with Aidan but to no avail; Phil looks at the contents of Aidan’s box; and Donna offers Billy the room in the house.

EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Dr Hudson is concerned about Ross drinking whilst on his medication but suggests a skin graft. Later a drunk Ross lashes out at Pete and Debbie.

Meanwhile, Megan and Jai are delighted for Eliza to be home. However, Priya is devastated when her niece is banned from staying at Holdgate whilst investigations into her bruising continue.

Elsewhere, tension lingers between David and Tracy; David’s boosted to hear Dr. Cavanagh is on the judging panel for the retail awards and invites him for dinner; Faith and Cain are still getting on each other’s tits – could it spell the end of Faith’s time at the farm?

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Diane is horrified when she discovers Shane has kidnapped Prince but it doesn’t take much convincing for Diane to leave Prince trapped. Prince manages to escape with nothing to wear for the big day whilst Lily is lonely at the aisle. Will he make it in time and convince Lily to believe him and reveal Diane was in on it all?

Meanwhile, Damon starts to sort through his mum’s things with the help of Holly. They come across an old suit that Holly prepares to get cleaned as a surprise. However, she is baffled when she discovers the suit has gone, unaware its Prince who took it.

Elsewhere, Adam is furious Glenn offered Maxine the money for Minnie’s school. Later, Maxine is attacked by Trigger who steals back the £20k – set up by Glenn.

Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Eve has had a terrible night – the thought that she might have to move from her home has upset her on an emotional level. Al persuades his mum to sit around the piano and then talks to her about her playing – what does she remember? After a hesitant start, Eve plays Greensleeves.

Later, Al tells Eve that she doesn’t have to move out just yet and that he’s employed a private carer to check in on her twice a day and to sit with her two afternoons a week.

Elsewhere, Valerie confesses to Ayesha about her kiss with Ashley and their plans to take things further.
