SoapWeek: River City

Stevie faces his worst nightmare when Lenny discovers he’s behind Scarlett’s imprisonment. Lenny tells him to get her out of jail – immediately. Initially unwilling, Stevie changes his tune when he realises how much Madonna is suffering without her mum around. After visiting Scarlett in jail – and hearing her emotional confession about sending him to jail – Stevie joins forces with Gabriel to right his wrongdoings. The sworn enemies hatch a dangerous plan to clear Scarlett’s name and see her released from prison.

Elsewhere, Lydia realises criminality is the only way she’ll pay off Lenny quickly; Angus considers starting his own business; Theresa intimidates Liz, locking her in the charity shop cupboard so she can do some dodgy drugs dealing.

River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

Phil’s efforts at bribing Max away from the Square fail when Max declines the cash offer and puts his efforts into his business.

Meanwhile, Sharon is forced to admit the truth about her and Keanu’s actions leaving Phil furious. Keanu is taken aback when Phil gives him one day to prove his worth at The Arches. Together, Sharon and Keanu come up with a plan to get back on the right side of Phil.

Elsewhere, Halfway tells Whitney a secret about himself and she later finds out the extent of his injury; Phil gives Kim some money to ease his conscience.

EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One.

SoapWeek: Emmerdale

As Frank furtively speaks to a jeweller about a ring, Megan’s fury mounts. Later, Tracy arrives to find Megan destroying Frank’s clothes and is shocked to hear that her father has been playing away.

Soon, Megan opens up to Graham about Frank during their business meeting. There’s a mutual attraction between them and Megan kisses him. Later, Megan’s shocked when Frank explains he wasn’t cheating and gets down on one knee to propose…

Elsewhere, Charity’s resentful of DI Bails’ perfect life.

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Adam meets with DS Roxy and reveals about the dashcam before telling her to back off. Later, Adam goes to London to pick up a delivery for Glenn but he’s left his phone at the flat. Maxine takes his phone out of his pocket along with a used condom wrapper…

Meanwhile, Alfie is hearing voices more and more, the voice is telling him to be strong and show off to Yazz. When DS Roxy enters Glenn’s flat, Alfie goes in after her and locks her in, setting off the alarm. Glenn soon arrives and tells Roxy to back off, but he makes a discovery.

Elsewhere, Ryan is withholding information on Kim’s whereabouts; Lily and Prince have a huge row.

Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Emma is running late for work, and Amanda delays her further by complaining about possible whiplash, Emma suggests she get checked over at The Mill.

As Daniel starts to examine Amanda, there’s an awkward moment he asks her to pull her top down, he slowly touches her neck, her shoulder and her temples. It’s too early to say what it is, but he gives her a prescription for pain killers and as they say goodbye, she offers to return the favour one day (she’s a massage therapist) Karen gives Daniel a wry smile.

Later, Amanda tells Emma that she is thinking of extending her stay.
