Gary and Sarah return to the builder’s yard to find Jack struggling to cut Phelan free. Handing Jack a tenner, Sarah sends him on his way, making him promise not to tell anyone. Phelan goads Gary into beating him but then turns the tables…

Meanwhile, Robert is devastated that Michelle could betray him on their wedding day. He throws his things in the car, telling Daniel the wedding is off and he’s going away. As Michelle waits for the ceremony to begin, Daniel arrives at the bistro and confides in Carla that Robert’s done a runner.

Elsewhere, Alya’s unsure of what to believe when Shona reveals that Josh raped David. Olivia (the model) is stunned to find the bag Antoine entrusted her with contains cocaine. Gemma forms a plan.

Jimmi takes Amanda to a Buddhist Temple to meditate, clear their heads and talk. He wants out of the Partnership whether she accepts the money or not. Amanda feels undeserving of the money but he puts her straight.

Home again, Jimmi loads Amanda’s bags into her car – the first bank transfer has gone through, it should keep her going until he can send the rest. Amanda tells him not to send any more – it’s more than enough. Jimmi suggests that it’s best if they don’t see each other again. Amanda kisses him on the cheek and tells him she loves him, before driving away.

Elsewhere, Mrs Tembe and Ayesha prepare to interview Nurses to cover Tash’s extended trip to India – there are only 2 candidates. The first, Sara Prendergast, manages to offend them with her maniacal laugh, confession of hangovers and certainty of bagging the job. The second candidate – Penny Stevenson – is missing a hand but demonstrates that this won’t keep her from doing the job. Won over, Ayesha and Mrs Tembe relish the thought of giving Sara the bad news.
