Following a gunshot being fired at No.11 Phelan makes his way into the bistro carrying his first casualty. Demanding Ali administer first aid Phelan grabs a hostage and locks himself in the kitchen. As the police surround the bistro will everyone make it out alive?

Elsewhere, Gail calls Rosemary and tells her she has the money and would like to be rid of Richard’s curse once and for all.

Louise overhears Sharon telling Mel there has been a break-in at the club and she rushes to warn the others. Hunter sneaks into the club to find out what’s going on and is shocked when he learns the safe has been emptied.

As Kat prepares to go to Spain, Hayley tells her she’s not going anywhere without paying her first and threatens to reveal her secret.

Peri tells Harley she called her mum, how will she react? She agrees to meet her mum in The Bean where Peri has set up the meet, but she is stood up. An angry Harley is back at the flat with Spice but Peri takes it from her and throws it down the sink. Later Peri and Harley kiss, Peri tells her she can’t do it leaving Harley devastated and she leaves.

Meanwhile, Imran has a bruise so Misbah signs him off school with glandular fever. However, Sally is suspicious when she spots Imran with the bruise. Sally’s suspicions grow when she sees Imran and Misbah arguing and shecalls social services.

Elsewhere, Lily is unimpressed when Price buys a knock off TV.

Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Shak is nagging Ruhma about new trainers but she’s more interested in a date Alia’s going on. With her mind doing overtime, Ruhma phones Shak at college to try and find out what he knows. He knows nothing but drops another hint about new trainers. Ruhma hangs up and laments to Heston about her fears for Alia finding boys at such a critical time in her education. A chat with Karen about Immie leaves her feeling more alarmed.

Later, Shak reports back to Ruhma – the boy’s name is Tarks, short for Tariq – he’s Muslim, from a good family – and he’s a size 10 in trainers! Ruhma pretends she can’t hear him and hangs up, feeling reassured.

Elsewhere, Jimmi is still intent on leaving the partnership. Mrs Tembe tries to persuade Heston to take his place but he won’t.
