SoapWeek: Corrie

Sally, Tim, Gina, Geoff and Yasmeen are all dressed in circus outfits for the Speed Daal family day. As Sally takes to the stage to thank everyone for their fundraising efforts the police arrive and arrest her on suspicion of fraud, bribery and money laundering. The police question Sally about the £1k Duncan deposited in her bank account. Tim admits it wasn’t a bonus from Streetcars and he assumed it was an error. Sally is angry that he has made her look guilty while Duncan is also claiming that she and him were having an affair.

Meanwhile, Geoff offers to buy Imran’s share of the restaurant, Yasmeen turns him down, determined she can manage. Hearing this, Alya approaches Carla and handing her Aidan’s DVD explains that she realises the importance of family and is willing to sell her the factory for the value of Aidan’s original stake. Carla has a wobble over her finances, confiding in Johnny and Michelle, but later arrives in the pub saying she is ready to make the purchase.

Elsewhere, Jenny fires Sean from the Rovers after he sneaks a free drink round to his homeless friend, Frank, but fails to provide a decent explanation; Jude and Angie attend a marriage guidance session but admit they’ve made no progress; and Toyah applies for the Counsellor position at the medical centre.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

Karen is concerned to see Keanu’s blackened eye, but he refuses to be drawn on what happened and punches the wall before storming off. Keegan checks in on his brother but slips up by making a remark about Keanu’s dad. Keanu confronts Karen, who contemplates telling him the truth. Later, Hayley is unimpressed when Keanu has an extreme reaction to her ribbing him.

Meanwhile, Rainie is shocked when she discovers Max has joined a “no strings attached” dating site. Rainie revels in winding Max up and messages a woman on his behalf.

Also today, Mel is left feeling spooked after spending some time with Amy; Bernadette is concerned about Ted and turns to Patrick for help with a plan. Soon, Ted comes across a buried bottle with a note from Joyce inside.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Debbie is devastated when Sarah insists she won’t be having any more treatment.

Frank makes Megan think he’s moving on with another woman, leaving her gutted. However, when Megan insists she loves him and is not giving up on their relationship, Frank decides to give her another chance.

Elsewhere, Zak’s gutted when Rhona finds the owner of the dog he has befriended; David and Maya agree to tell Jacob and Leanna about their relationship.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

The McQueen’s arrive in Magaluf as they are reunited with Mercedes for her hen do. Mercedes finally reveals her mystery groom – Russ Owen, leaving Myra furious. Myra plots with Goldie to get Mercedes really drunk to put Russ off, but a revelation about Russ in the bar leads to Mercy calling off the wedding herself.

Meanwhile, Nana McQueen is making the most of her dating app while in sunnier climes and has lined up a date with Ronaldio but she is disappointed to find he isn’t quite the cross between Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin she anticipated…

Courtney makes up an excuse to bow out of the hen do celebrations, later Goldie is shocked to see her in conversation with Liam Donovan, Iona’s father…but what is she up to?

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
