SoapWeek: Corrie

Carla’s left to guard Simon at the factory when Peter has to go out, but she soon becomes distracted when she catches Sinead using her work machine to alter Cathy’s coat. When Sinead has a funny turn, Carla heads out to look for Daniel. With the coast clear, Tyler and his mates heckle Simon from outside.

As Peter and Carla return, they fail to spot a car approaching and Tyler pointing a gun at them from it. A shot is fired at Peter. Seeing her son’s terror, Leanne has a go at Carla for leaving him unattended. After wavering, Simon announces he will testify against Tyler despite the put off tactics.  

Elsewhere, Jude and Mary make arrangements for the vow renewal, but Angie soon admits to Jude their marriage is over. In denial, Jude shows Mary a dress he’s bought for Angie for the renewal and later asks an oblivious Angie to keep quiet about their split.

Also, with Rana leaving imminently, Daniel tries to convince Kate that the ultimatum she gave her wasn’t fair; Fiz and Tyrone help Kevin prepare No.13 for Jack’s return from rehab; Daniel charms Carla into allowing Sinead finish the coat alteration at the factory before helping himself to a load of offcuts.

The Carters are unnerved by a series of strange goings on and wonder if Stuart is to blame. Suspicious, Halfway visits his brother looking for answers…

Meanwhile, on Kim’s advice, Honey agrees to go on a date with Adam but as she goes to meet him, Billy pleads with her not to. When Will and Janet spot the commotion, Billy realises he has overstepped the mark and tells her to go.

Doug brings upsetting news to the village and soon Lachlan is secretly panicked. What will he do?

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Damon visits Holly and gives her some flowers, he’s keen to make amends and support her after everything that has happened. They kiss.

Meanwhile, Ollie and Brody have a kick about in the car park, Brody tells him Ollie is living his dream, he had hoped to get scouted when he was a teen. Ollie drops his water bottle and Scott discovers it is filled with vodka. Buster convinces Luke he is unfit to chaperone Ollie and offers to go instead.

Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
