Tensions are running high at the Carter household; Ruhma is suspicious of Heston when she overhears him seeking legal representation and ordering a courtesy car on the phone. Heston soon picks up on her suspicions and they have a row.

Meanwhile, Addison and Rob question Farrah who insists that Tarks was fine when she left him. She isn’t, however, forthcoming with an alibi. However, Farrah then admits that Tarks made a video of her too and she couldn’t risk it falling into the hands of her strict mother. With Farrah still refusing to name her alibi, Rob has a thought and heads to Farah’s house. Pretending that he’s speaking to everyone in relation to an incident at Farah’s school, he finds out that Farrah was at home when the hit-and-run occurred.

Back at the station, Farah is furious that Rob spoke to her mum but calms down when he says he didn’t tell her anything – he was just following a hunch and she now has an alibi. Farrah then admits to having swiped Tarks’ phone and agrees to retrieve it for the officers. As their questioning continues, Farrah reveals something of interest… she saw Heston approaching Tarks.
