Liz is delighted when Steve’s DNA test comes back ‘proving’ Hannah is his sister. At the same time, Tracy encourages Steve to ‘fill his boots’ and enjoy his pass – he thinks he has free rein to sleep with another woman, but Tracy is referring to a free spa pass for the hotel where they are getting married. Steve eyes an opportunity with Abi at the dance lesson, will he cheat on Tracy?

As Steve admits he doesn’t love Tracy and can’t marry her, Peter takes a call from Tracy with the news that Amy has had a fall and is in hospital. He comes looking for Steve what will he find?

Elsewhere, Billy is uneasy when Josh arrives on his doorstep after being discharged; Cormac suggests Ryan and Daniel go with him to a dodgy club in town, Adam warns Daniel who Cormac’s dad is.

It’s the day Luke has been dreading, court day, he steals all the notes from the safe in The Hutch. Darren catches him and tries to convince him to not make things worse, but Luke asks him to keep quiet. Mandy pleads with Scott to stand up in court and defend Luke, reluctantly Scott agrees to help, will it make any difference in sentencing for Luke?

Brody catches Luke and Ollie loading the car with bags, and realising they are doing a runner, begs them to not go as Ollie is the star witness in Buster’s trial. Will they flee?

Elsewhere, Darren is hopeful things could still work out for him and Nancy.

While Mrs Tembe fills Zara in on what happened with Smail, they overhear Ayesha getting a call from him. Mrs Tembe also shares the information she unearthed in Smail’s office with Emma who suggests they talk to Smail’s investor, Ivan Bloom, and soon they are in front of him with Mrs Tembe brandishing evidence that Smail’s figures don’t add up.

Later, Bloom calls Mrs Tembe to give her the welcome of news that Mr Smail no longer has his backing. Smug, Mrs Tembe calls Smail to tell him all her staff will be staying put, and wishes him well for the future.

Elsewhere, Daniel gets stick over his TV appearance; Ruhma prepares Shak for University; and Rob files a missing persons report for James.
