SoapWeek: Corrie

Mary and Angie are delighted when Jude reveals that he has got an interview for a place on the paramedic’s course. Yasmeen is surprised by the news after he fainted on her first aid course but a supportive Roy offers Jude a cheque for £5k.

Mary later takes a call from the university on Judge’s phone and discovers that he has been lying again – he walked out of his exam. At the café a journalist from the Good Samaritan Awards arrives to interview Jude and Roy, but Mary takes Jude to one side and notifies him of her intention to reveal all.

Meanwhile, Ken puts pressure on Sinead to tell Daniel the truth. Daniel calls in the cafe to find Sinead in tears and demands to know what Ken has done to upset her. Unable to carry the burden anymore, Ken confides in Claudia that Sinead has cervical cancer and is refusing to tell Daniel. 

Elsewhere Gary’s friend Greg manages to lift Jack’s spirits; Audrey takes offence at Ken’s published short story (inspired by Claudia) after realising that she is the subject of the salacious tale, and Cathy takes an instant dislike to Brian’s boss Phil.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Hayley gets a shock when a social worker arrives having been tipped off about the previous week’s events. Livid, Hayley demands to know who called them and refuses to accept their help, however, with the social worker not going anywhere, Hayley soon thaws a little and opens up. Once the social worker has gone, Hayley kicks off at Jean for calling them but then realises that it was Kat. Standing by her decision, Kat later gets into a huge argument with Hayley.

Meanwhile, Keanu is relieved that Phil has no idea about his and Sharon’s affair. Sharon insists they have to be careful and is alarmed when she has a suspicious meeting with Linda who reveals Phil has been in touch. Later, Sharon slips out of the Vic to meet Keanu in the adjacent alleyway, they can’t keep their hands off each other but the moment is witnessed by a horrified Karen.

Elsewhere Carmel hosts a talk on knife crime at the community centre but it doesn’t go to plan when she ends up embarrassing a teenager, Lewis. After she chases after him, Lewis has some cold revelations for her.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Daz updates Bernice on his failure to find a job and when he hears that one of his homeless friends has died, she comforts him instead of ending their relationship. At the same time, Kerry decides to give secret spray tans to make some extra money.

Soon a lustful Bernice and Dr Cavanagh let themselves into the salon, unaware that Kerry and Jimmy are hiding, they kiss before heading upstairs. Having snuck away, Kerry and Jimmy arrive in the Woolpack where they see Daz…Bernice’s betrayal becomes apparent.

Meanwhile, April tells Rhona and Marlon the reason Leo is being left out at school is because he keeps hitting the other kids and gets special treatment. Jessie and Marlon suggest moving Leo to a specialist school but Rhona insists she is not moving him.

Elsewhere Leyla has a secret stash of cash and jewellery. Ellis is quietly gutted that Victoria isn’t up for a serious relationship.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Its Ste and Harry’s wedding day, Lily is putting the finishing touches to the decorations, but Ste is having second thoughts due to Dee Dee’s condition. Tony, however, encourages Ste to proceed. Meanwhile, James is using Romeo to help him expose his affair with Harry by placing pictures of them kissing in the guest’s gift bags….

Harry later begs James not to ruin this day for the sake of the family and Dee Dee’s illness. Later, a morose James is drinking in his flat alone, Romeo takes the opportunity to tell him he is his son.

Elsewhere The Dog are providing the catering for the wedding but there’s a cock-up. Russ rides to the rescue and Goldie seems to be very taken by him.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Rob is back at work, determined to defy his bout of man flu. Arriving at a house he walks through to the back garden, explaining to his colleague that a petty criminal called Boggy was doing a bit of door to door selling and then got violent. The owner of the house has trapped him in the back garden. As soon as Boggy spots Rob he throws a carrier bag over the fence, which Rob’s colleague retrieves. Rob is suddenly hit by a sharp pain in the head but still manages to carry out the arrest.

However, the pain returns whilst Rob is interviewing Boggy at the station, forcing him to take a break. Boggy reckons he’s sussed what’s wrong with Rob – withdrawal. Rob ignores him and tries to find out the origins of the dead ducks that were in his carrier bag, but Boggy isn’t forthcoming. As things progress, Rob gets word that Boggy was seen poaching at a duck pond. He now has enough to charge him, but as he leaves the station afterwards, he is hit by another sharp pain.

Elsewhere, Al tries to find out what Jimmi has planned for his ‘winner dinner’.

Doctors, Monday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
