Pick of the Plots: Thursday October 25th
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Although he has a fair idea of the blackmailer’s identity, Keanu needs proof and comes up with a way to get it. Once his suspicions are confirmed, Keanu rushes to tell Sharon.
Meanwhile, Hayley begins to feel a bit more positive about the baby but her doubts resurface when she overhears Kat and Stacey talking. Jean does her best to reassure Hayley but they are thrown into panic when Hayley starts to get contractions. As Hayley rushes to the hospital, Stacey gives Kat a reality check about her attitude towards Hayley. Hayley later returns with the news that it was a false alarm but she is shocked by what Jean has done.
Elsewhere, Dot is upset that Dr Legg is refusing treatment and ignores his calls. However, Dot is given food for thought by Max. Carmel continues with her plan to make sure Shakil isn’t forgotten but she is caught unawares by a time mix-up.
EastEnders, Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
It’s the day of Grace’s funeral and an emotional Chas looks through Grace’s memory box. When Cain arrives, Chas is choked up and he goes to embrace his grieving sister. Chas tells Cain how Paddy has planned everything and Cain is concerned that Chas has lost faith in her daughter’s send off.
Paddy arrives to tell Chas that Grace has arrived and they head out to say goodbye to their little girl. Outside, Paddy and Chas are overwhelmed to see the villagers lining the street. Later, Lydia opens up to Sam about why she couldn’t attend the funeral.
Meanwhile, Ross tries to comfort Rebecca after she receives a birthday card from Lachlan. He is rattled when Rebecca says she’d kill Lachlan given the chance. Ross and Rebecca reflect on all of the bad things that have happened to them in the village. When Ross suggests that they seek a fresh start elsewhere, Rebecca is surprised and wonders if he is serious.
Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
The Storm causes a dramatic structural collapse, putting several lives in danger.
Sinead tells Sami that she has returned to ruin Ste and Harry’s wedding but before they can even get close to Hollyoaks they hit something in the road.
Elsewhere, Diane and Tony tell Tegan they would like to co-parent both the girls.
Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Ruhma is experimenting with the radio volume when Heston finds her. He brightly proposes a walk, but Ruhma doesn’t really feel like it. Alia calls for advice on her biology work and Heston suggests to he doesn’t limit her uni options to local places.
Ruhma decides to go for a walk with Heston after all where she castigates him for interfering in Alia’s choice of university. Heston is taken aback but then Ruhma admits what’s really troubling her – she thinks she’s losing her hearing.
Elsewhere, Ayesha pulls out all the stops to secure herself a date.
