The coverage, on the STV Player, will feature Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo through the innovative partnership that launched today and sees 14 matches from two of the best leagues in world football shown free-to-air in Scotland this weekend.
The fixtures from LaLiga (Spain) and Serie A (Italy), which will be played from today through to Sunday 25th November. The coverage on STV Player will be available live and free of charge on the content service. Beyond this weekend, Eleven Sports will also make available two matches from LaLiga and Serie A to the STV Player every match week.
The STV Player is the UK’s fastest growing broadcaster video on demand service. The partnership between STV and the sports content provider supports the digital growth strategy of both companies and aims to broaden the range of content available on STV Player. It also follows the recent announcement that STV will act as exclusive digital sales agent for Eleven Sports across all digital platforms and sponsorship as they grow their premium sports business in the UK and Ireland.
