SoapWeek: Corrie

Having listened to the evidence Tim is once more of the belief that Sally may have had an affair. Sally is devastated, while Tim confides in Gina that he feels a fool for believing Sally. Sally tells Gina she can’t bear the thought of her husband thinking she is a liar. Battling her emotions Gina tells Tim she is moving out but Tim tells her he wants her to stay.

Kate and Rana attend the fertility clinic where they decide that Kate will carry their baby. Later, an excited Kate fills Johnny in on their clinic visit, but Rana can’t keep a lid on her doubts and tells Kate that she’s not happy with the idea of a stranger fathering their baby. Meanwhile, Michelle wonders if all the baby talk has made Robert broody again, but he assures her he’s over it.

Elsewhere, Jenny secretly puts Liz’s phone in water, telling Liz that she is due an upgrade so she can have her old one. Later, Jenny is tracks Johnny and Liz via an app to the same location. She bursts into the bistro – what will she find.

Also, Paula ends things with Sophie; Jack plans a one-legged race fundraiser; Mary’s upset by Angie’s resolve to move on, Roy treats Mary to afternoon tea for Jude’s birthday, and Mary surreptitiously reads an incoming text.

Leanna convinces Bernice she has made the wrong choice of dress for the gala, and Bernice rushes into town to amend her mistake.

However, when Bernice later arrives in the Woolpack wearing an awful ball gown she quickly realises Leanna has set her up and she’s left upset when Liam sides with his daughter.  

Elsewhere, Priya is concerned when Graham cracks open a can of beer whilst in a meeting with her and Nicola. Nicola, however, takes advantage of Graham losing his grip and tempts him with some wine.

It’s career’s fair at the school today, and Sally finds Simone and Louis in a state of undress in her office.

Ste is in hospital after the attack, and tells his family he doesn’t know who beat him up, but suspects the Maaliks are involved. The police probe Sami but his story checks out. Meanwhile, Imran admits to Yazz that he was responsible and threatens her to keep quiet.

Later, Yazz and Misbah expose Imran in front of everyone in the school yard, revealing what he did to Ste and that he has been abusing them for months.

Elsewhere, Laurie tells Sinead he is meeting with solicitors today, but she later discovers he is lying.

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Sid overhears Emma and Jimmi discussing whether some sort of event would be a more fitting tribute to Heston than a bench. Emma proposes ballroom dancing, Jimmi’s happy to give it a go but one disastrous jive lesson with Valerie stops him in his tracks. Valerie decides to focus on ballet lessons for Izzie instead. Later, Sid approaches Jimmi with an idea.

Meanwhile, Zara looks at some personalised Christmas cards, and contemplates throwing them away as the image of a ‘shining happy family’ doesn’t appeal anymore. Zara quells her doubts for Daniel’s sake but will she be able to keep up the act?
