Gordon invites Mrs Tembe to do a talk at the church study group this afternoon, however she doesn’t feel confident about the prospect. She shares her apprehension with Al who advises her to just be herself. Later Mrs Tembe arrives and struggles to engage the group despite reassuring glances from Gordon. Realising she is rapidly losing her audience, Mrs Tembe goes for a different approach but can she turn things around?

Meanwhile, Daniel tells Al about a patient who is having problems with his partner and wonders what Al would advise him to do. Al reels off a number of options including ending the relationship if things are really that bad. Al adds talking to friends can really help but Daniel sadly remarks he doesn’t think this man has many friends.

Later, Karen lets slip that Daniel and Zara’s relationship is in crisis. The penny drops and Al realises Daniel was actually talking about himself. Al speaks to Daniel again and offers himself up as a potential friend for the ‘patient’.
