The latest goings on in River City, Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

SoapWeek: River City

Sharp-eyed Poppy uncovers evidence that could overturn Alex’s murder charge, but he has reasons of his own to remain inside.

Maggie is in knots over her nursing hearing while new arrival Eve Christie rolls into town, poking around for information.

River City, Monday at 10pm on BBC Scotland, repeated Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.


SoapWeek: Corrie

The Platts set off on holiday, but mistrustful of Nick, Leanne refuses to join them. At the holiday park, Gail is excited to hear that Lorraine Kelly is also in residence. Will Gail get to meet her idol? Meanwhile, Natalie arrives with some worrying news for David and Nick, the sight of David talking to her proves too much for Shona who calls off their engagement. Gail thinks Natalie’s tattoo looks familiar.

Back on the street, Gary is shocked to find his passport in an envelope, Leanne admits they broke in and retrieved it. When Audrey rings asking him to join them on the holiday, he is all too keen to get away.

Elsewhere, Michelle is taken aback by the state Carla is in; Sally, Jenny, Sinead and Yasmeen excitedly take ownership of a beautiful racehorse but later find that it’s been replaced by an old nag – they’ve been had.

Coronation Street, Monday at 9pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Bex takes her frustrations at not hearing back from Kush out on Sonia and then goes to speak to Kush on the market. As Bex heads off, Kush tells Martin that Bex has a crush on him. Martin promises to resolve the issue. Later, Bex lets herself into Kush’s flat with the key he gave her so that she could study there. Kush tries to talk some sense into Bex but when Kat arrives, Bex is crushed to learn they are an item and runs off. 

Meanwhile, Karen prepares for a picnic at the park to lift Bailey’s spirits but fails to convince Mitch to tell Bailey the truth about Dinah. At the park things go awry when Dennis gets hit in the face and Mitch is embarrassed when Bailey admits she did it. Mitch doesn’t take Bailey’s apparent acting out well, but Bailey confides in Karen that she was covering for Ollie. Back home, after a talking to from Karen, Mitch explains to Bailey that her mum ended her own life.

Elsewhere, Whitney and Callum are delighted to move in to their new flat; Ruby gets jealous when she spies a close moment between Jay and Lola; Kim is dismayed to learn that Kathy has bought the lease for The Albert.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Chas and Paddy discuss their 20-week scan and with Chas clearly worried about it, Paddy cancels it behind her back. 

Meanwhile, David is stunned by a development.

Elsewhere, Rishi attempts to help Jai.

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Grace struggles to cope as she leaves hospital for the first time since the crash. Liam has a panic attack and accidentally tells Farrah that he can’t get the sound of brakes out of his head.

Ste is furious to discover Sami is representing Sinead. He’s all fired up, Leah tells him he has changed.  Meanwhile, Jack is furious to see Nancy and Laurie out together, but it soon becomes clear that Nancy is in cahoots with Sienna. 

Elsewhere, Darren wants to expand the delivery business.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
