Pick of the Plots: Thursday 29th August

The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

It is the day of Whitney’s Hen and Callum’s Stag and wanting everything to be perfect, Mick feels the pressure to deliver. However, when Stuart learns Ben’s coming, his mood shifts and he sneaks off. With the Stag in full swing, Stuart returns and his behaviour makes Callum suspicious, especially when Ben fails to show. When Callum finds Ben, he struggles with all the pressure and lashes out at him.

Meanwhile, the Hens prepare for Whitney’s big night and when Sonia admits to Tiffany, she’s planning a big surprise, Tiffany’s interest is piqued. Later, at the E20 all the hens throw themselves into games with some going better than others Whitney’s thrilled when Callum gate crashes the party but when he asks to speak to her alone, her concerns grow.

Also, Mel procures some dodgy passports for herself and Hunter, however on her way home she’s stopped by Ben with an ultimatum. Elsewhere, Max makes a big decision about his future and Iqra comes out to her grandparents.

SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Ellis is frustrated by Billy’s stance

There is tension in the air between Moira and Nate as they both become jealous of their relationships with Cain and Amy. Will they be able to resist one another or will they fall into each other’s arms again? 

Elsewhere, Aaron tries to get answers; Nicola agrees to take action; and Amy is hopeful of more time with Kyle.

Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm and 8pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Tony shows Mercedes the picture of Isaac and she recognizes the ‘God is Love’ sewing as Breda’s handiwork. Later, Tony is determined to find Daniel’s teddy.

Later, Tony is furious at Diane when she tells him that Finn will be moving back in with them, they argue and he storms out. Tony gets a text from Harry, which says not to worry, as he is fine.

Meanwhile, Ollie is bonding with DJ, but is struggling to lie to everyone about the fact that Luke is DJ’s real father. Later, Cindy sees he’s upset and talks to him, and Ollie blurts out that DJ isn’t Darren’s son.

Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
