Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 6th November

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

Billy tries to get Josh to tell the truth about what happened to him, but his pleas fall on deaf ears. Later, Paul is shocked when Billy tells him about Josh raping David. Will Paul do anything with this information? Shona resigns herself to the wedding being off but she is shocked to then get word that new evidence has come to light which could secure David’s release.

Meanwhile, Carla tells Ken that she has a meeting with a company who are interested in Sinead’s beard oil but she could do with some input from Daniel. Later, Beth shows the Barlows a hideous memorial angel she has ordered for Sinead’s grave. Horrified, Ken manages to get in touch with Daniel but he refuses to come back for the funeral. With Ken worried that Daniel will regret his decision, Claudia takes charge and says they must go and get him.

Elsewhere, Sally accuses Abi of being a gold digger; Emma is concerned when Amy confides in her that she has been texting Tyler; Gary’s PI reports back that Ali has been missing shifts at work and that one of the hospital pharmacists was arrested for stealing and supplying drugs.

Sylver takes his anger out on the caravan as it sinks in that Mercedes cheated on him, while Nana is disgusted that Mercedes swore on Bobby’s life. At The Dog, Mercedes hurls abuse at James, Grace, Joel, Diane, Goldie and Nana. Outside, when Liam rejects her, she reveals that she aborted his baby.

Meanwhile, Marnie, Juliet and Romeo are worried when James declares he wants Mercedes found, dead or alive. Marnie takes drastic action and puts pills in his drink. Sylver rejects Grace while a vengeful Diane smashes a glass in her hand.

James, Joel, Breda, Liam, Sylver, Grace and Diane prepare for revenge… At The Loft, Mercedes raids the safe and finds drugs and money as well as a gun before hitting the dance-floor, seemingly without a care in the world. That is until someone takes the gun from the bar and shoots her.

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Becky arrives at work and tells Valerie to cancel all her meetings, divert her phone to voicemail and arrange an urgent partners meeting.

At the partners meeting Becky delivers some devastating news for everyone at The Mill…
