Pick of the Plots: Monday 11th November

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Michelle incurs Ray’s wrath after warning Alya to be careful around him. As Robert is driving home from Vicky’s he is distracted by a call from Michelle and crashes his car. At the hospital Michelle can’t understand why Robert is asking about a baby and then she spots his big Daddy necklace next to the bed. Is the game up for Robert?

Meanwhile, Roy reveals what his online scrabble addiction is really about – he believes his online playing partner is his brother. Roy confides in Carla that he’s discovered his mother had a son, Richard, as a result of her affair and put him up for adoption.  Carla encourages him to go and see Richard but once there, a young woman answers the door and denies knowing him.

Elsewhere, Gary is jealous when Maria puts in a good word for Ali with Dr Gaddas. Geoff accuses Yasmeen of being controlling but agrees to go to Vegas with her.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

It’s the day of Louise and Sharon’s surprise party and Mel is adamant that it all goes to plan. Lisa claims that Mel isn’t coping but Louise wonders whether her mum is off her meds. Later, Mel apologises to Lisa for lashing out, but when Lisa mentions going to see a counsellor, she feels the sharp end of Mel’s tongue again.

Meanwhile, Sharon panics when Phil calls – Mel’s told him about her selling the club and he’s on his way home. Sharon demands that Keanu take Louise away from the Square but he is unable to do so as she knows about the party. As both Louise and Sharon arrive at the club, Mel’s plan begins to unfold.

Elsewhere, tensions run high amongst the Carters on the day of Ollie’s assessment and Linda is forced to cover when Shirley quizzes her about an empty bottle of wine in the bin. As Ollie is called for his assessment, all Mick and Linda can do is wait.

Also, Karen isn’t prepared for Keegan’s news; Jean opens up to Shirley about losing Daniel.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Following Vinny’s revelations, Vanessa gives Charity the chance to tell the truth about her dirty dealings with Mandy. When she fails to come clean, Vanessa is gutted and ends their relationship, leaving Charity devastated.

Meanwhile, a stranger named Sean approaches Cain. Cain darkens as he realises Sean is a member of the gang that he and Aaron stole the car from.

Elsewhere, Amy tends to a hungover Kerry and compels her to talk to Dan, but Kerry is not sure he’ll come around.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Azim waits in the Maalik’s yard to talk to Ste after finding the note that he threw over to them. Ste asks for his help to get him away from Stuart and Jonny. Azim agrees to help but Leela is proving more difficult to convince.

Later, Jonny accompanies Ste to a HIV appointment at the hospital. Peri is there as a trainee nurse and tells Jonny that only immediate family can go into the appointment. Ste is relieved that Leela is waiting for him, it’s all been set up by Azim, and they promise to help him get out tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Sid turns up at school and Imran tells him that he’s as guilty as his dad, Stuart, for the explosion, but Juliet takes a less harsh stance. Azim asks Yazz to meet with the florist for Sami and Sinead’s wedding, but the florist has no patience with Yazz being deaf. Finn stands up for Yazz, but she doesn’t appreciate him wading in.

Elsewhere, Mercedes remains in a coma. Grace asks James to represent Liam angering Sylver in the process. A flashback reveals Liam stood over Mercedes’ body at The Loft.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Daniel goes to Jimmi about a troubled male patient but he’s clearly describing himself. Jimmi suggests that Daniel talk to a counsellor but obviously not him due to their history, but Daniel insists he doesn’t need therapy.

Meanwhile, Adam tells Zara he is worried about his brother; he’s been suspended from work and his wife has kicked him out. Zara doesn’t let on about Emma’s B&B setup.

Elsewhere, Al soldiers on alone at The Icon. Rob updates Ruhma on the miscreants who took Heston’s bench but it isn’t the result she was hoping for…

Doctors, Monday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
