Meanwhile, Mick and Mitch wrack their brains for an alternative Nativity. Bailey revels in making demands for them to use a story she wrote for a competition. Later, Mick invites the school mums to the performance but isn’t prepared for their response.
Elsewhere, the Panesar brothers burst into the Slaters with some shocking news – they’re buying their house. The news proves too much for Jean and not feeling well, Kush offers to go to the hospital for her and see her friend.
Also, Sonia opens up to Tina about Martin. Callum struggles to think of a present for Ben. Honey and Karen clash.

Later, Chas tells Cain that he should come to Lydia’s Dingle gathering because it’s the ‘season of goodwill’, but when Cain arrives to see Nate there, he tells the Dingles to go to hell as he storms out.

Another montage shows Breda and Grace with the gun that shot Mercedes. Sylver leaves Mercedes a voicemail telling her that he loves her and needs her to retract her statement.
Meanwhile, Liam and James decide that Mercedes should be their first client for their protection racquet. Feeling vulnerable without Sylver, Mercedes considers it but something Bobby says leads her to a different decision.
Elsewhere, Mitchell is sneaking out of the flat to see Scott, but he’s accosted by Walter, Lisa and Martine who are going on a day out. Mitchell lies that he is meeting his new girlfriend, however they invite her along too.
Later, Lisa and Martine tell Scott that Mitchell is bringing a plus 1 to their day out, leaving Scott hopeful but misguided that Mitchell might be ready to bring their relationship out into the open. Scott is fed up of being hidden, prompting Mitchell to show how much he means to him.
