Health market ambitions for Jenni Falconer

The broadcaster is a co-founder of a collagen supplement brand.

She’s been on our TV screens and radio airwaves since the mid-1990s, but now Jenni Falconer has a new venture away from the world of broadcasting.

Finding that modern health can be hard to keep on top of, especially lengthy skincare routines, Jenni has become one of the founding execs of a collagen supplement brand.

An avid marathon runner, Jenni first tried collagen supplement after a colleague, who was a TV doctor, told her that her bones would need extra help after taking a battering with excessive pavement pounding.

Pairing running with her work hours as a presenter, having hosted breakfast shows on stations such as Heart FM and Smooth Radio, Jenni somehow managed to keep her skin in good condition, attesting it to her fresh-air workout. It wasn’t until she one day ran out of collagen powder that she started noticing her skin felt less radiant and that something was different.

Realising that collagen maybe her little wonder product, she soon saw that it was not only aiding recovery after running but also visibly aiding her skin, hair and nails.

After years of trying various collagen brands, Jenni concluded that she should create her own formula to cover all bases, offering collagen and vitamins with a taste that should please and voilà, the face we’ve come to know on shows such as GMTV’s Entertainment Today, BBC One’s The National Lottery and Channel 5’s Wordplay, has all that packaged up in a daily sachet.

Who says you need to be Carol Vorderman to be a leading business empire builder? The end result is Kollo, that Jenni hopes will help people keep on top of their own health.
