OTD 1975: Bob Warman on Leicester City Council’s ‘five million pounds worth of controversy’

ATV Today stalwart Bob Warman reports on “five million pounds worth of controversy” in Leicester over the New Walk Centre office block which the local authority was to take over, in a move described as a waste of money.

A poll at the time noted that 97 percent of Leicester people were against plans by Leicester City Council to take over the vacant office block on New Walk.
