Your Pick of the Plots for Friday, March 1.

Part One

Jade tries to pluck up the courage to tell Dean she is moving to Pakistan with Shabnam. After a heart-to-heart with Jean, Jade heads to Beales Eels to break the news to Dean who reacts badly.

Meanwhile, Sonia invites Kathy over for dinner in an attempt to cheer her up ahead of Rocky’s sentencing.

Elsewhere, Denzel tries to make it up to Amy for neglecting her recently.

Part Two

At the Albert, the ladies convene with Johnny to deliberate on the most recent developments. However, the situation takes an unpleasant turn as Stacey decides to evict Suki following a heated argument between them. Suki tells a devastated Eve she’s leaving whilst Nish watches on.

In The Vic, Vinny gives Suki food for thought and she heads to No 41 to ask for a truce with Nish. It’s not long before Nish turns violent as the wider Panesar family arrive home in Suki’s time of need.

Meanwhile, after hearing from his solicitor that he is unable to stop Jade moving away with Shabnam, Dean comes up with a sinister plan to get Jade to stay.

Elsewhere, Sonia and Elaine treat Kathy to a boozy brunch to cheer her up ahead of Rocky’s sentencing.

Also, Denzel is given food for thought by Yolande who tells him that he needs to shift more of his focus to Amy rather than his fitness regime.

Daniel apologises to Daisy for failing to warn her about the article but she gives him short shrift. He then tries to make up with Bethany, but she too cuts him dead.

Having spoken to her editor, a fuming Bethany tells Sarah that because of Daisy making a complaint, she’s been sacked. Bethany confronts Daisy, accusing her of sabotaging her career. Daniel heads over, shocked to hear that Daisy had Bethany fired.

As the row escalates, Daisy reveals Lauren blackmailed her and Ryan and only asked Daniel to tutor her so she could increase the pressure. Daniel reels.

Back home Daisy broods, but when Jenny reveals she’s got a visitor, Daisy’s gobsmacked to see Ryan.

Meanwhile, Nick tells Dee-Dee about Harvey’s appeal and how worried he is for Sam’s sake. Dee-Dee returns to the office and, looking Adam straight in the eye, asks him if he’s working on Harvey’s appeal.

Elsewhere, Kevin reveals that Tommy O has accepted a job as an assistant coach at a football academy in Spain, but it’s not yet common knowledge. Steve’s intrigued.

Also, Evelyn and Cassie clean the house in readiness for Fiz and Tyrone’s return; Dylan furtively retrieves his confiscated phone and listens to a message from Mason.

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

In The Woolpack back room, Chas is supported by her female friends and family. They talk about her cancer and how finding the lump early hopefully gives her the best chance.

Meanwhile, Moira is worried about the potential of Cain having a faulty gene.

Elsewhere, Belle is left feeling confused by Tom’s attitude.

Also, Ruby and Caleb’s row escalates, and the commotion spurs Cain to intervene. Caleb tries to comply and move the argument outside, but Ruby is steadfast.

The confrontation ends with a knee to the groin for Cain and shocked Dingles all round.

Emmerdale, ITV1, tonight at 7.30pm
