Pick of the Plots: Tuesday 13th August

Linda has been drinking all night and Johnny is at a loss of how to help her. Gina tells him to use his legal skills to help his mum and she’ll look after Linda.

Johnny returns and he and Linda have a massive row. Later, when Johnny’s calmed down, he returns home to find Linda in a life-threatening situation.

Meanwhile, Cindy is incensed to discover Peter is going to work for Junior and offers him the manager’s job at Beale’s Eels, ready to demote Bobby. When that doesn’t work, she orders Junior not to hire Peter, but Junior refuses to rescind his job offer.

Lauren quizzes Cindy on why she’s so determined to stop Peter working with Junior and, to cover her tracks, Cindy tells a lie to discredit Junior.

Elsewhere, Sonia bumps into Eve and Suki and realises that Suki is wearing her ring. Eve covers for Reiss saying she got it at a pawn shop, but when Sonia gears up to play detective, Reiss is cornered.

Also, Bobby apologises for taking Anna for granted and she’s cross that Gina interfered. As the Knight sisters argue, Freddie overhears Gina saying that Anna is in love with him.

Mandy is excited about her hen party.

Alone in the salon, Bear is stunned to hear Mandy’s latest online call coming through the karaoke speakers.

He struggles to compose himself and is rattled by her betrayal. Mandy’s unnerved when he makes a few barbed comments.

Meanwhile, Jimmy and Nicola are devastated to hear Angel has been in a fight.
