Fronted by two of Britain’s most trusted sports voices, Mark Pougatch and Paul Hayward, How It All Played Out: Sport’s Greatest Moments will take listeners deep into some of the most defining, controversial and iconic events in sporting history – from legendary triumphs, to the flashpoints that sparked global debate and outrage.

Hosted by Mark Pougatch, Chief Sports Presenter for ITV Sport, and Paul Hayward, Contributing Editor at The Observer, episodes drop every Tuesday from 27th May on Global Player and all major podcast platforms.

For example, Mark and Paul will carefully analyse how the 1995 Rugby World Cup in South Africa helped to unite the country divided by decades of apartheid, a moment that transcended sport and changed history forever.
