Greatest Hits at Breakfast goes nationwide

GHR confirm that Greatest Hits at Breakfast will broadcast across the entire UK from Monday July 28th…

Bauer Media Audio have announced that Greatest Hits at Breakfast is set to get even bigger as it goes fully national from Monday July 28th. This follows the new that Ewen Cameron and Cat Harvey have joined Scottish media empire STV as part of its plans to launch a Scotland-dedicated radio station later this year.

Bauer have decided not to continue with a Scottish flavoured morning offering on Greatest Hits Radio following the departure of Cameron and Harvey and instead will network the programme for England and Wales.

Ewen Cameron and Cat Harvey are off to STV to launch its radio station

Greatest Hits at Breakfast, hosted by Simon ‘Rossie’ Ross, currently has an audience of over 3million listeners.* Its roll out in Scotland this summer will mean that the whole of the UK will now be able to start their day with the greatest hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s in the company of one of the UK’s most loved broadcasters.

Gary Stein, Director of Audio:

‘We’re delighted to announce that listeners in Scotland will be able to hear the UK’s most listened to commercial Breakfast show – Greatest Hits at Breakfast. Rossie is a hugely experienced broadcaster who has been part of the Greatest Hits Radio family from the very start and I know he can’t wait to get started. My thanks to Ewen and Cat for all their hard work and everything they’ve contributed to our station. I wish them the best of luck for the future.’

STV’s as yet un-named radio station will launch later this year with the broadcaster announcing more details on programmes, presenters and its name, shortly.
