Pick of the Plots: Friday February 10th

SoapWorld takes a look at the goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Friday.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Following her tryst with Daniel, Sinead realises she needs to talk to Chesney, meanwhile Adam enjoys winding Daniel up. But when Daniel discovers that Adam is cheating in his legal exams he sees a way of getting back at him. Later, Chesney seeks revenge on Daniel without reckoning on Daniel having a darker side. Fiz is not impressed with Sinead.

In an attempt to get the garage out of hot water, Kevin takes on too much work. Meanwhile, Rosie and Sophie mull over their options and when Rosie finds out from Sally that Tim has an allotment, she forms a plan.

Elsewhere, Bethany’s thrilled that her latest video is proving popular, unaware that Nathan ordered his assistant Mel to bolster the numbers. When Luke has an accident at the garage, cheeky Adam tells Rosie he’ll talk Luke out of suing Kevin if she goes out on a date with him.

Coronation Street, Friday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

As Whitney gets ready for her night out with Lee, she’s disappointed to hear Beanbag has cried off. However, believing that Lee needs the night out, Whitney pleads with Beanbag to come and he agrees.

Whitney and Lee meet Beanbag at the Vic where, with the evening in full flow, Whitney comes up with an idea to try and help Lee but how will Lee take it?

Elsewhere, Michelle overhears Bex singing in the allotment and tries to help her rebuild her friendship with Louise; and Denise grows frustrated at the inconsiderate students living next door to her but soon her mind is elsewhere.

EastEnders, Friday at 8pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Laurel, Sandy and Gabby are sad as Ashley leaves home and heads into full time care. It quickly becomes apparent he’s settling in rather well, whilst Laurel struggles to come to terms with the situation.

Finn is feeling bad about the possibility of Aaron going to prison and apologises. The situation causes tension between Aaron and Robert. Meanwhile, Pollard encourages Finn to have one last crack at winning Kasim back.

Elsewhere, Moira tells  Faith she can stay at Butlers; Pierce is acting passive aggressively towards Rhona and she’s surprised when he tells her he’s going away for a conference; and Priya tells Rakesh she doesn’t want him to leave.

Emmerdale, Friday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Cindy and Marnie are preparing for Hilton’s birthday party, which is actually an excuse to cheer Alfie up. However, Mac and Lisa are on edge. Mac panics when he gets Cameron’s blood on his hands after snooping around the campervan, now owned by Sally.

Later, Marnie and Nathan catch Mac scrubbing blood off the campervan and guess that he was responsible for Cameron’s hit and run. However, Marnie won’t let Mac get arrested and decides to help. Meanwhile, Nathan finds a bra in the van and confronts his dad. Elsewhere, Cindy suggests Alfie sees a grief counsellor but Alfie doesn’t want to get over Jade. After chatting to Holly, Alfie finally opens up to her and Cindy.

Diego encourages Frankie to leave Jack. Frankie makes Darren choose between her and his dad. Later, Diego talks to Frankie about a business idea and she agrees to invest Eva’s inheritance, but is she being conned?

Elsewhere, Tony notices that something is troubling Diane. 

Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Sid discovers there is more to the work experience girl than meets the eye. Emma is in for a shock at her spa day. Sid tries to persuade a patient to tell his young daughter about his cancer diagnosis despite their fractured relationship.
