Pick of the Plots: Monday November 27th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Billy is still consumed with guilt over his lies about the armed robbery. Todd promises to do some research about the car crash to put Billy’s mind at rest. He’s horrified by what his digging turns up, and keeps the truth from Billy. Later, Billy is suspicious when Todd snaps at Daniel.

Meanwhile, Mary enjoys minding baby George in the flower shop while Jude and Angie go house hunting. Later, Mary takes a call from Jude telling her that George has taken ill again and they’re at the hospital. Jude gives Mary short shrift at the hospital, now suspicious over how George’s health takes a turn for the worse whenever he spends time with her.

Elsewhere, Gary is disappointed in Faye for doubting Anna’s innocence (re who pushed Seb); Henry Newton arrives on the street to track down “Jemima”. Gemma’s stunned when Liz points out that he’s Henry Newton of Newton & Ridley fame.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Max is tasked with stopping Lauren from revealing what Weyland is up to. Lauren agrees to keep quiet but her conscience soon gets the better of her. Willmott-Brown overhears Lauren telling Max that she has changed her mind.

Phil is delighted when Aidan, an old friend and cell mate, arrives out of the blue. After a catch-up and introducing himself to a bewildered Sharon, Aidan departs leaving Phil wondering what really brought him to the Square. Phil is suspicious when he spots Aidan meeting with Vincent.

Elsewhere, as Woody contemplates a job in Spain, Linda gives him the idea to invite Whitney too, which she leaps at.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Chrissie decides to set up a social media page to help with the search for Lachlan. Meanwhile, Rebecca is horrified to realise Seb is missing and assuming Robert is responsible, blurts out to Lawrence what Robert has been doing. Chrissie and Lawrence are left reeling by the revelation whilst Rebecca heads off into the village to look for Seb.

Rebecca returns to find Robert at Home Farm with Seb. Chrissie confronts him about Rug Tree Bonds. Robert insists he’s a changed man but Chrissie isn’t in a forgiving mood.

Elsewhere, Diane warns Bernice to stop pretending she’s rich; Brenda’s delighted when Bob reveals he’ll be taking her to a Tom Jones tribute act.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

There’s a flash-forward to Mac lying life-less in The Dog carpark. In present day, Mac races to the hospital when he hears that Jack is there, and tries to kill him again.

Marnie is concerned about Mac but Ellie puts his behaviour down to Neeta’s memorial being tomorrow. The Osbornes are by Jack’s bedside. In his unconsciousness, Jack says a final goodbye to Frankie before waking up, while Mac thinks his secrets are safe.

Elsewhere, Cleo is worried about Hunter’s intention to attend Neeta’s memorial; Lisa plays hard to get with Brody but it backfires when he asks Cleo out instead.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

DI Stanton is called to the Remand Centre, where he soothes LaToya’s concerns that Braydon knows her whereabouts. Fellow inmate Jackie looks out for LaToya, however later, a prison officer finds LaToya bleeding heavily in the toilets, after being stabbed. Is all as it seems with Jackie?

Meanwhile, Daniel is put out when DI Stanton arrives to see Zara. Stanton wants to reassure her that the other witness is solid. Zara questions whether they need her then? Stanton points out he needs both of them. Zara is not happy with the situation.

Elsewhere, Austin visits Lily for the first time since her placement, and he isn’t keen when he finds out Rob is the foster father; Zara suspects that Lily has fulminating pre-eclampsia, which might prompt imminent delivery of the baby.
