Pick of the Plots: Thursday November 29th

The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

At The Vic, the locals discuss the article in the Gazette and unaware that it’s about Ruby, they begin a debate about the topic of consent. As Ruby desperately tries to ignore what everyone is talking about, Stacey’s temper flares when she sees Martin with Matt and Ross and it becomes clear that they are the men involved.

Matt and Ross leave but things grow worse for Ruby when Glenn arrives and protests his friends’ innocence. Furious but defiant, Ruby confronts Glenn in public and everyone realises she is the woman Matt raped, leaving her reeling.

Meanwhile, a drunken Kat arrives at The Vic and causes a scene.

EastEnders, Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Megan spots a drunken Graham and tries to dissuade him from driving. Graham misinterprets her kindness and tries to kiss her but she pulls away, leaving him mortified. Later, Noah turns up to speak to Graham about Joe and refuses to get into the car with him. So Graham decides to take Noah for a walk instead. As they arrive at Butlers Farm, Graham tells Noah this is where he’ll find his answers about Joe. Debbie is shocked when Graham implies Cain knows more about Joe’s disappearance than he is letting on. Will Cain’s secret be revealed?

Meanwhile, Charity is left to entertain Moses and Johnny but is horrified when she realises she’s used permanent paint on the kids’ faces. Marlon offers his assistance in getting it off before Vanessa returns but they panic when they turn around and the children have disappeared. They search the bar and are horrified to realise they’re locked in the cellar. Vanessa arrives, incredulous that the kids were in the cellar, but she sees the funny side.

Elsewhere, Leanna tells Noah that she’s doing dares to try and outdo a rival school gang, and Noah wants in; Can Bernice and Liam overcome their differences

Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Imran breaks down to Sami, and apologises to his family, but they’ve already gone to the police and filed a report. Sally tells Ste that the mystery robber was Imran. Ste rushes to tell the police who the culprit is.

Meanwhile, Sally promises Louis she won’t tell Leela about finding him and Simone together. Simone calls an end to the affair.

Elsewhere, Sinead is convinced Laurie is cheating and lashes out, but Laurie returns and insists she has got it wrong. Later, Diane hears Laurie on the phone to someone, telling them he can’t slip out or Sinead will get suspicious.

Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Daniel and Zara argue about who can take Izzie to her ballet class this afternoon. Zara calls their babysitter, with no luck, but then comes across Valerie, and realises the answer is staring her in the face. Later at the class, Valerie makes Izzie laugh and they bond as Izzie opens up and explains how she feels like she doesn’t belong anywhere.

Meanwhile, Rob comes in to get a statement from Al about one of his patients, but as he watches Al giving a statement about a car accident with a care-free attitude, he can’t help wondering why he isn’t struggling more. Over lunch, Rob broaches the subejct with Karen who chastises him for not leaving Al alone. But then Karen reveals that Al hasn’t driven since the accident. Rob later brings this up with Al, telling him to speak up if he needs help.

Doctors, Thursday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
