Consumed with guilt, Sinead confesses to a shocked Billy that she hasn’t been going to her chemo sessions. Later, Sinead is horrified to discover that Steff has been rushed in to hospital; her cancer has spread and she has just days to live.
As Nick and Carla snipe at one another they fail to notice Jo, a new client, enter the office. Unimpressed, Jo threatens to take her business elsewhere. Nick meets with Elsa and agrees to pay her back as long providing Leanne’s name is kept out of the divorce proceedings. Back at the factory, Nick and Carla are under pressure to complete Jo’s significant order.
Elsewhere Seb finds an envelope stuffed full of cash in Eileen’s cupboard. Eileen realises that the money must have been Phelan’s but she decides to put it to good use, inviting Liz and Sean on holiday with her.
Also, Cathy worries about the pressure Phil is putting on Brian.

Mel panics when Maddie arrives at her house and reveals she has had enough, she is going to confront Ray. Mel tries to change her mind; warning her that Ray is dangerous, but as they agree to meet elsewhere, they’re unaware they’re being watched. Later, as Mel tries to convince Maddie to keep quiet, the person following them reveals themselves.
Meanwhile, Tiffany tries to apologise to Bernadette. Impressed by Tiffany, Evie invites her to The Vic and insists she brings Bernadette too.
Elsewhere, Stacey is taken aback by Jean’s odd behaviour; Karen joins the choir practice after learning there’s a prize up for grabs. Ian opens up to Jean about Lucy.

Later, Donna Marie goes to take some painkillers out of Cindy’s prescription box, but Romeo catches her, and she tells him everything…
Meanwhile, Glen’s will is processed today and Jesse gets Liam on board with his plans for the salon, but they soon learn that no money has been left. However, Glenn has left his book of suppliers. Lisa tries to convince Liam to turn to the dark side.
Elsewhere, Grace tries to convince Misbah that her gangster days are over; Lily unsuccessfully tries to seduce Prince.

Jimmi clocks Al arriving at The Mill by taxi, his driving aversion apparent. Valerie surprises her colleagues by wearing all beige in a lifestyle statement, ‘accepting your own mediocrity’. This causes a stir; however, everyone is soon distracted by Al’s new odds for the ping-pong tournament.
IVF patient Laura Wade and her husband Russell come into The Mill, Laura talks with Ruhma about the side effects of her hormone treatments and they reminisce about Heston. Later, Ruhma brings up to Mrs Tembe the unfair cost of the Wade’s treatment, but Mrs Tembe isn’t in the mood and reveals she is having a crisis of faith.
Elsewhere, Zara and Izzie have a spat when Zara discovers Izzie going through her things again. Izzie opens up to Daniel but refuses to do the same with Zara.
