Pick of the Plots: Wednesday March 20th
The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
As Sally lies unconscious, trapped under the falling debris, the bodies of the protestors can be seen slumped next to each other as water from a burst pipe seeps across the floor towards a live power cable. Tim, Abi and Tyrone force their way into the factory to help before emergency services arrive to search for survivors. Suddenly a loud noise signals the last section of the roof collapsing as debris rains in on those still trapped.
Stood outside the ruins of the factory, Carla is consumed with guilt. A devastated Carla reveals that she knew the roof was unsafe but chose to ignore it. As news of a death inside the factory is delivered, Carla breaks down.
Meanwhile, Kate nervously awaits Rana’s arrival at the wedding venue, wondering if she’s had a change of heart. A phone call Rana explains everything. Kate is insistent they can still go ahead with their union, but will the couple get to exchange the vows that mean so much to them?

Kim is out to get Cain after he knocked her back, and Graham is perturbed to hear about how she plans to use Noah.
Meanwhile, Marlon warns Paddy he needs to tell Rhona about Chas’ pregnancy, so he bites the bullet. Rhona puts on a brave front, but once alone she breaks down.
Elsewhere, Maya attempts to win over Pollard.

With Mac due to go on trial, Breda shows him her murder weapon of choice, a vial of poison. He requests a picture from her once she has killed James. Later, Breda puts the poison in James’ coffee, but Juliet accidently spills it all over his suit.
As Breda lets herself into his flat, James finds her there and she covers that she witnessed the coffee mishap and wanted to help him clean his suit. Alone with James’ coffee cup, what will Breda do next? Later, we see James collapse onto a park bench, while listening to a voicemail from Harry, confessing his love.
Elsewhere, having forgot the wedding favours for the McQueen double wedding, Cleo quickly rushes to Price Slice for some party poppers. Whilst there, Martine secretly tells Mitchell to go get her. Mitchell offers Cleo his help and invites her home.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Karen is fussing around Rob, still dealing with the fact that he was nearly killed. She suggests they need a holiday – a cruise – however she’s distracted by a call from social worker Sofia Lilanga who asks if they might be able to take on a 6 year old boy at short notice, pending the outcome of a child protection conference.
At The Mill, a clearly wound up Beth Taylor-Wood demands to see Dr Haskey, urgently. She immediately goes on the attack, wanting to know why he reported them to Social Services and accusing him of judging them and being homophobic…
Elsewhere, Becky is excited about her boyfriend is moving in, but he’s down in the dumps about his redundancy.
