Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 10th July

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

Daniel and Sinead anxiously await her MRI scan. Sinead is relieved to hear that her tumour has shrunk, but she remains wary that the cancer could return at any time.

Meanwhile, Nick and David lock horns when they hear that Gail has disappeared. Later, Nick tells David he plans to take full responsibility for the stolen money, so David calls Imran and tells him he was mistaken about Nick being responsible for the factory roof collapse. However, Leanne tells a torn Nick to stick to the original plan – she and Oliver want him home. What will Nick decide to do?

Elsewhere, Robert slips away to a midwife appointment with Vicky, and later lies to Michelle that he was called away to help a young offender. Tim is furious when he finds out what Steve has been up to with Tiny. Billy tries to apologise to Paul but Paul introduces him to Adrian, his date. Alya and Ryan share a kiss after he does a DJ set at Speed Daal.

Meanwhile, Amy confides in Nate about Moira warning her off of him. Nate is furious, wondering what Moira’s motive could be. Soon Nate has suspicions, but is he right about his hunch?

Elsewhere, Victoria is determined to leave and Diane is trying to help. She asks if Pollard will buy her out of the B&B, for Victoria’s sake. Will Pollard make her an offer?

Also, Dawn is upset that Lucas’s foster parents are taking him to Disneyland, worried it will set back her relationship with him. Kerry tries to make amends.

Emmerdale, Wednesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Harry apologises to James and explains why he lost it. Ste sees them together and tells James that he shared a kiss with Harry last night, but Harry reassures James that he rejected Ste.

Later, Sadie finally returns Harry’s calls and he begs her to meet him at the police station, so that they can tell the truth about Liam, however, the plan is unknowingly thwarted by a suspicious James when he drugs Harry with sleeping pills. Meanwhile, Jonny convinces Ste to give Jed another chance.

Elsewhere, Liam reassures Sylver that Mercedes’ change in behaviour is definitely not due to drugs. Mercedes is affronted that Sylver went to Liam about her.

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
