Premier Sports launch coverage of the Scottish Premiership

This weekend Premier Sports will broadcast the first of 20 live and exclusive matches from the Scottish Premiership this season.

It marks the start of a five season deal with the SPFL to screen matches from the country’s top men’s league.

Tony Docherty’s Dundee side will welcome Steven Naismith’s Hearts team to the Scot Foam Stadium at Den’s Park in an intriguing early season encounter. Dundee come into the match on the back of an opening day 2-2 derby draw to city rivals Dundee United, while Hearts welcomed Rangers to Tynecastle in an entertaining stalemate.

Match commentary will be provided by Rory Hamilton and Michael Stewart, while presenter Connie McLaughlin will host guests Alan Hutton and Charlie Mulgrew as they analyse all the key talking points from the game.

The half hour long show will be repeated on Tuesdays at 12.00 and 22.00 on Premier Sports 1 or 2.
