Pick of the Plots: Thursday May 17th
We take a look at the latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Linda is furious to find Mick in bed with Hayley; throwing her out of The Vic and warning her never to come back. Mick insists nothing happened and Linda immediately blames Stuart’s influence and Mick soon realises he is right to.
Stacey is taken aback when Martin snubs a drink with her on their wedding anniversary; however Martin is put off from asking Hayley out instead by the commotion at the Vic. Bex gives him food for thought about Sonia so he seeks advice from Kush and decides to take Sonia out for dinner. Meanwhile, Jean reaches out to Hayley before giving Stacey a reality check. Later, Martin arrives to see Stacey who admits she still loves him but he’s shocked when Hayley appears and he realises they’re cousins. Fuming about how he was set up, Martin decides to go for the meal with Sonia.
Elsewhere, Carmel confronts Karen about Shakil’s reluctance to go to the summer school.
EastEnders, Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
A terrible event unfolds in the village and there’s a horrifying outcome. Which of the residents won’t survive?
Ross questions Moira about Simon but Cain interrupts and shuts down the conversation. Later, at Paddy and Chas’s engagement party, Cain warns Ross off from hassling Moira. There is a scuffle and Ross’s face conformer is nudged. He cries out in pain, just as Moira walks in wanting answers. Will Moira tell Ross the truth?
Elsewhere, Aaron and Liv finally talk about her drinking problem.
Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm and 8pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Glenn and Adam are trying to catch who was in the yard the night before, they spot Zack acting suspiciously. They confront Zack and warn him to keep him mouth shut before giving him Damon’s money back.
Later, Zack finds a note in his house about a haircut with Adam that afternoon. He goes to the appointment where Adam threatens him. Afterwards, Zack warns Maxine that Adam is a gangster and soon Maxine’s snooping adds some legitimacy to Zack’s claims.
Elsewhere, Alfie makes a grand gesture to Janine (the woman he slept with); Damon asks Holly to reconsider Venice.
Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
It is morning at Jimmi’s flat and Amanda seems to have settled in well, but when Jimmi casually asks for a neck rub, Amanda feels awkward and refuses. Jimmi is left confused about where he stands.
Daniel talks to Amanda to try and find out how she’s settling in, but when Jimmi appears she scarpers. At lunch, Jimmi asks what he and Amanda were talking about earlier. Daniel just says he was warning her how tricky it is to make things work with an ex. He doesn’t want to get back with her, does he? Jimmi shrugs. Daniel thinks it’s a bad idea, but Jimmi doesn’t see it that way.
Later that evening at home, Jimmi approaches Amanda and admits that old emotions have been dragged back up, but as he reaches for her hand, she pulls away. Jimmi’s hurt. But away from Jimmi we see that Amanda is terrified that Jimmi will discover her secret.
Elsewhere, Zara helps Joe with his school project on the Romans.
