A secret threatens to wreck Sonny’s search for employment. Meanwhile, Nicole plots to take over the Tall Ship, Amber confronts her feelings for Lou and Ruby struggles to accept the extent of her injuries.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

Mel worries about Hunter and encourages him to open up but fed up of his mum fussing, Hunter humours her and sneaks off. Later, Jack checks up on Mel who is worried sick and wanting to help, he heads off to find her wayward son, locating him chatting up girls at the club. Back home, Mel confronts Hunter about his behaviour but Hunter puts on the fake tears. As Mel comforts him, a livid Nicola and Maddie arrive and demand to see Ray.

Meanwhile, with Denise’s 50th birthday party is in full swing at The Vic, Keanu corners Sharon in the bogs and tells her that he’s missed her. Sharon is displeased with the Louise developments but Keanu reminds her that she was the one who called it off. When Louise enters the toilet, Sharon helps Keanu sneak out.

Elsewhere, Billy tells Ruby that he has a crush on Shirley in a bid to put things right between her and Jay. Ruby is alarmed to find out that her flat has been broken into. A furious Linda insists to Mitch that he makes sure Mick makes it to his coaching course tomorrow.

SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Jessie is left conflicted when the police ask her to make a statement. If she tells the truth then Billy could end up back in Jail, but if she lies, she risks losing Ellis. How will she proceed?

Meanwhile, Kerry’s elated when Daz reveals he has taken a job in Croydon however, Dan’s concerned about how Amelia will take the news. When Daz tells Amelia the reason he’s leaving is because Kerry has threatened to call the police if he doesn’t, Amelia confronts Kerry. Everyone’s taken aback when Amelia vows to go with Daz.

Elsewhere, Nicola’s unaware Graham is on to her; and Harriet suggest Dawn apply for a job at the factory.

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Sienna is in a panic as she shows Laurie the destroyed mask, and he’s happy to help her with her lesson plan. Later, Sally tells Sienna how impressed Ofsted was.

Meanwhile, Yazz finally tells her family about America, and they’re all happy for her. However, Misbah breaks down crying once she’s left. Later, Alfie meets with Marnie, James and Mac to tell them about America. They’re all happy for him, except Mac. Mac tries to guilt Alfie into staying before taunting him about Jade.

Elsewhere, Jonny tells Ste that he needs to get out of town for a while, and we hear him book a hotel room under a different name; Kyle convinces Nancy to go on a date with someone from the dating app. Nancy’s date is a no show but there’s a spark of romance between her and Kyle as he comforts her.

Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Karen meets Rob for lunch and clocking he is in a bad mood, she suggests they plan a holiday – a cruise. However, the idea doesn’t float Rob’s boat. Rob reveals that he’s been asked to join a new CID unit and isn’t sure what to do. Karen thinks if it’s more money he should go for it and can’t help mentioning that when he’s finished they can unwind in style on a cruise…

Meanwhile, Mrs Tembe approaches Daniel and Zara to ask for a partner meeting. Thinking this is about them, Zara insists that things are back to being civil, but Mrs Tembe interrupts to say she’s handing in her notice.
