Pick of the Plots: Thursday February 7th

The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

Louise continues to wallow over Keanu, but is annoyed by Phil’s insensitivity and ends up dampening Jay’s spirits. Phil asks Sharon to help cheer Louise up so Sharon visits Linda for ideas, and Honey and Denise are also invited to give their input. Sharon is given food for thought and comes up with a plan.

Meanwhile, Mo offers to take Tommy to school, while Jean feels unwell and looks up her symptoms online. Mo convinces Tommy to play ill for one of her money-making schemes but panics when she ends up losing him. Later, Stacey is delighted that Kat passed her first round of Knowledge tests but they are confused when Martin brings Tommy home, having found him wandering outside. When a flustered Mo arrives home Kat and Stacey decide to teach her a lesson.

Elsewhere, Martin sees how good Ruby and Jay are together when he and Stacey join them on a date; Ruby is flattered when Jay helps her land a new client for her events company; Mel continues to fret about Hunter’s behaviour and hides all of the knives in their house and Kathy is back in Walford to claim her man – Masood.

EastEnders, Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Maya attempts to apologise to Jacob, however she’s unnerved when he resists her advances and threatens to tell David about their affair. Maya’s terrified to have lost control over Jacob and decides to leave the village, but whilst she’s packing her things she falls off a stool and is knocked unconscious.

Meanwhile, Moira tries to convince a defiant Kerry to let Kyle come home to his Dad and Cain is later relieved when Kerry tells him he can have access to Kyle. Shortly after daring to hope the police investigation is over, Cain is rattled to find the police searching Butlers, and his refusal to join them at the station leads to him being arrested.

At the station, Cain pales as DS Sanders reveals they have information that places him at Home Farm on the day Joe went missing, pressured Cain tries to offer an explanation but will Graham back up his story when the police arrive to question him?

Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Ollie tells Juliet that it’ll only take one more thing for Darren and Mandy to split up, so she prints off the selfie of her and sleeping Darren and pushes it under the Morgan’s door.

Meanwhile, Lisa turns up at Liam’s ready for lunch, but he cancels on her. Joel sees Mercedes coming out of The Loft and tells her to stay away from Liam as he’s a bad influence, and he puts white feathers in Liam’s fancy new car to scare him. However, Mercedes and Liam continue to spend time together.

Elsewhere, Martine gets a mysterious text saying that everything is ready for tomorrow; Nana finds a completed crossword puzzle and discovers its Bobby who did it… he’s a genius!

Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Daniel is not impressed when Zara gives him a long list of chores and shopping for his day off. Joe is also clearly feeling the strain of his parents’ arguing and doesn’t want to go to school. Feeling low Daniel calls Jimmi hoping to do lunch but Jimmi is swamped at work. Heading back to the car with some sports equipment for Joe in hand, he bumps into Becky to whom he apologises for being a bit unwelcoming the previous day.

Becky mentions an interview for another Surgery on Monday and runs some thoughts past Daniel who’s impressed. On his way home Daniel drops into the Mill, apologises to Zara for being grumpy that morning and tells her about his meeting with Becky – he now thinks they should invite her for an interview tomorrow.

Elsewhere, Al railroads Jimmi into helping him recce the woodland location of the LARP event he is organising but when they get there Jimmi can’t help but tease Al as much as possible.

Doctors, Thursday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
