SoapWeek: Corrie

As Kate and Gary stare at the factory, Imran reveals he knows Gary is now a suspect. Gary protests his innocence while Kelly approaches Faye looking for him. Gary assures Faye that he knows nothing about Rick’s whereabouts or the roof collapse and Faye believes him. Later, Peter lunges at Gary, blaming him for destroying both Kate and Carla’s lives. Burdened with guilt, Gary calls at the solicitors’ office and tells Imran that he is responsible for Rana’s death. 

Meanwhile, Maria meets another online date in the bistro. However, when Rex shows her some photos revealing that he likes to dress as a dog, she’s taken aback. After inadvertently offending Max, who leaves in a huff, Ali calls round at Maria’s with a bottle of wine to apologise. Having finished the bottle, Ali leans in for a kiss and Maria kisses him back.

Elsewhere, with the sale of Beth’s shares in the factory causing a fuss, the workers eventually decide to buy them and divide them fairly amongst themselves. Evelyn accuses Larry of doing a botch job of the café wiring and trying to fleece Roy. Gemma persuades Evelyn to give her some shifts at the shop but asks her to keep it a secret from Chesney.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

The Slaters are horrified when Shirley tells them that Phil knows they have his money and they have until later today to give it back. It doesn’t take Jean long to realise that Shirley betrayed her but she pleads with Stacey to hand it over. 

Stuart does his best to help Rainie but he is taken aback when she comes up with a dangerous money-making scheme. Meanwhile, Kathy suggests to Ian that going to the police is for the best, even if social services get involved.

Elsewhere, with the paternity test on her mind, Sharon attends her midwife appointment with Phil and tries to cover that she has already had bloods taken. Caren asks Karen out on a date. Tiffany appeals to Denise’s better nature about Jack.

As Ste comforts him over his fears about being a dad, Harry kisses him but then immediately regrets it. Sadie tells Harry that she’s going to go to the police and tell them what really happened. Later, Harry tells James that he wants to be a dad to Isaac, and he admits to the kiss. James pretends to forgive him but then drugs him so he doesn’t turn up to court.

Meanwhile, Sienna is finding children to pretend to be her twins ahead of meeting the au pair today. She steals the au pair’s phone before making an excuse to leave.

Elsewhere, Ste accuses Tony of being a bad parent leaving him to confide in Breda, but as he reels off his bad dad sins, could he be making himself a target? Sylver helps Grace with some house work.

Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
