SoapWeek: Corrie

Sarah tells the workers that the insurance company will only pay out £20k which is not enough to rebuild the factory, so Gary introduces Nick to a business associate of his, Derek Milligan, explaining that Derek would buy the land, rebuild the factory and rent it out to Underworld if he is put in charge of the building work. Sarah refuses the offer but the factory staff are furious with her for letting her personal feelings get in the way. 

Meanwhile, Emma tells Maria that her dad has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. An emotional Emma explains that her mum, who lives in Australia, is refusing to come and see her Dad despite his illness.

Elsewhere, Alina visits Seb following his discharge from hospital. She reveals that she is moving into a safe house and refuses to make any promises regarding further contact. Steve tells Tyrone that Evelyn is running an illegal gambling den from the corner shop. Carla comes face to face with an old business contact, Jo Lafoe, who offers her a job.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

Mick and Bex cross paths while out on a run, and Bex offers a visibly struggling Mick some tips. At the café, Bex’s concern grows when it’s clear that Mick is in pain and when Stuart attempts to make conversation he is quickly shut down. Mick’s day gets worse whilst refereeing the football match when one of the children gets injured and the opposition erupt at Mick. To everyone’s horror, Mick collapses.

Meanwhile, Habiba feigns illness in order to spend time with Adam. Iqra catches them together and tries to make Habiba see sense. Habiba chases after Adam but Lola confronts her and as the pair have a stand-off, Lola gives Habiba food for thought. Later, Habiba sets a trap for Adam.

Elsewhere, Bobby jumps to Iqra’s defence with a tricky customer and Iqra admits that she knows Bobby is exploring Islam and invites him to Eid at the Ahmed’s. Chantelle helps Whitney with her clothing empire but when she sees her images on social media, she panics knowing Gray will disapprove.

Jai blames Rishi and Manpreet and he and Priya put pressure on Rishi.

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Brooke takes a pregnancy test which comes back positive. She arranges to meet Ollie to tell him, but Juliet turns up after being invited by Ollie as a thank you for helping Brooke. When Brooke spots her purse in Juliet’s bag, she is furious and ends up falling out with Juliet and Ollie. Cindy tries to cheer Brooke up but unknowingly gives her the idea of hiding her pregnancy. 

Meanwhile, Ste is set to go on another march, and Jonny sets him up with Jed again. Footage of Ste angrily protesting at the march is played on TV.

Elsewhere, Prince says an emotional goodbye to friends and family, and before he goes, he advises Tom to go get his girl.

Hollyoaks, Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
