The long running character of Nancy gets a shock as revealed in a new Channel 4 and E4 Hollyoaks trailer.
New character, drug dealer Jordan Price played by Connor Calland, sets out to cause trouble for the teens of Hollyoaks High as he plans to recruit his cousin, Sid Sumner (Billy Price), and Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) as the County Lines storyline heats up.
A fight breaks out in the school playground between Sid, Imran and another teenager, teacher Nancy tries to break it up but gets caught in the middle.
Hollyoaks announced last year it’s intention to cover the topics of County lines drug-dealing and knife crime. ‘County lines’ is a term used when drug gangs from big cities expand their operations to smaller towns, exploiting children and vulnerable people. Hollyoaks has a strong award-winning reputation for covering issue storylines during a pre-watershed, tea-time slot. The writing and research teams have consulted The Children’s Society throughout the creative process, a national charity that works with those susceptible to this type of crime.

The promotion also shows us the return of Warren Fox in the village in dramatic scenes as he kidnaps Sienna’s (Anna Passey) new boyfriend, Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward). But a vengeful Sienna is out for blood….
And if that wasn’t enough John Paul played by James Sutton is well and truly back in the village of Hollyoaks, taking on a teaching role at Hollyoaks High, confronting serial killer Breda McQueen and as the trailer reveals reuniting with old flame James Nightingale (Greg Finnegan). What does this mean for Liam and James?
Other highlights include the return of Lucy Jo Hudson as Donna-Marie is delighted to be reunited with her daughter Juliet while Jesse and Courtney excitedly plan for their upcoming wedding in The Loft. Everything is perfect until Jesse overhears James and Grace admitting to shooting Mercedes….
